Masterpieces (Re)Discovered 🖼️🍷

What defines a masterpiece today? Is it quality, rarity, craftsmanship- or the ability to resonate across time? The preview of the upcoming spring auctions @lempertz_1845_art in Munich explored exactly this question, bringing together works that embody excellence in many forms.

From Old Masters to modern and contemporary art, photography, and decorative arts, alongside exceptional jewellery, watches, and handbags, the concept of the “masterpiece” was expanded beyond traditional categories.
The evening invited a closer look at how masterpieces are not only preserved, but continuously rediscovered and recontextualised by new generations of collectors.

In dialogue with this idea, the partnership with the Italian winery @ominaromana.official added another layer: the revival of ancient Roman-Etruscan winemaking traditions reflects a similar notion to rediscovery - where heritage is not static, but brought back to life through contemporary vision.

A night dedicated to excellence, across categories, materials, and time.

Meeting of the Minds

When working with financial advisory boards from the Middle East or anywhere else in the world success requires more than an extensive knowledge of the markets.

It requires a clear understanding of cultural context, as well as the protocol and traditions that shape how business discussions are approached.

Without that awareness, even the most well prepared meeting cannot reach its full potential.
