POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
At the end of each season, I am reminded of how lucky and fortunate I am to be involved in such a rewarding and loving community. I get so emotional thinking about how invested I get and how these people continue to improve and imprint on my life.

To my students (past and present), I’ll always be one of your biggest supporters. All I ever dream about is you being successful and achieving your dreams. With that, there will always be hurdles and challenges. Stay grounded in being true to who you are and strive to always being better person than who you were yesterday. There is no limit to your potential, keep pounding.

To my colleagues and fellow staff members, thank you for allowing me to share an educational space with you. A sacred place where we are not only trusted to improve one’s performance quality but guide these young minds into adulthood. I have my reasons, but I always feel insecure about not being good enough to work with a lot of you because each of you are truly incredible and out of this world. Thank you for keeping me encouraged and reaffirming that I do belong at the same table.

With each charm that is added, I smile knowing this is where a kid from Buckeye, Arizona is meant to be.

Nana G would always ask how my students were doing as she would then respond with a sweet smile, tell me that she was proud of me and that teachers heal the world. I’m running out of words to express that I’m eternally grateful for what this sport and community has given me as I always intended to give back first.

This season was truly unique and special as it felt like I reached the peak although I’m not finished climbing. Received my first educator brand endorsement through Salyers Percussion, instructed at three based programs including my first independent program, started mentoring this stud of a kid who wants to teach, was named Key to the Ensemble for Buckeye, and continued to build and grow drums in the west valley. The best part being the relationships that I’ve made and continued to develop with my mentor, students, and fellow educators.

Feeling beyond blessed and fortunate to be who I am.
