Highly recommend everyone to go watch The Sandbox!!! It's damn funny and entertaining, but also so heartfelt. And idk if it's the intimate storytelling, the quirky mockumentary style or the very genuine business and people the film is built around... but it's just super real lah!! Which makes it really hit 🥹

@jamesthooyc 's writing and direction are really singularly compelling 🔥 And ofc you get to see @xuanniiex shining on the big screen, along with an ensemble cast of some of our country's most amazing performers 🤩

Congratulations to the whole team behind @sandboxmovie.sg So glad to catch this wonderful work!!

P.S. It's also an honest and revealing look into the work and culture of our stunt performers in Singapore- a tale not often told. The sheer skill, effort and tenacity it takes to be a martial artist, especially for the screen where you may have to do 81, 82 or 132 takes... that's a story worth watching.

After. Part 3 of 3.

After is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of a different one.

It is learning to live in a body that has been through war. Finding out who you are now, on the other side of something you never asked for. It is gratitude and grief, sometimes in the same breath.

And for 26 of some of thr most extraordinary people we have ever met, it was also this. A runway. A room full of people on their feet. A moment that said, you are here, you are seen, and what you went through matters. A moment to celebrate that ONE DAY OF HAPPINESS because It Matters.

We are raising $250,000 for the @nationalcancercentresg Cancer Fund. Proceeds goes towards funding cancer research, the care, and the support that makes After possible for more people.

During. Part 2 of 3.

Nobody can ever prepare you for what During feels like. Not the textbooks, brochures or the well-meaning people who say you’ll be fine.

During is the treatment that takes more than it gives, at least for a while. It is the days you cannot get out of bed and the days you dig deep to find it within to power through anyway. It is learning, very quickly, who shows up and who disappears.

In Part 2, our Model Ambassadors speak about the middle of the story. the part that is hardest to tell and hear, just so someone out there know that they are not alone. It matters that these stories are told and that you hear them.

Fashion For Cancer Charity Fashion Show 2026 concluded 2 weeks ago.

As I have shared, my health hasn’t been the greatest this year. I cheated a bit so I won’t crash and burn on event day, I dosed up on my cortisol. Obviously it went well, cos you’re seeing this post la.

Proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone, speaking to the camera, for putting myself out there micro-interviewing everyone, and giving their stories airtime. All these drain my energy literally, I am beyond happy to have powered through. (P/S: I also hate hearing my own voice, I hate seeing myself in videos. It’s just too cringe. Sister kenot, tolong).

Thank you to all the silent heroes who supported tirelessly behind the scenes. I’m honored to have had the chance to work alongside you.

Before. Part 1 of 3.

There is a moment before the diagnosis that nobody talks about. The scan you almost didn’t book. The symptom you sometimes chose to dismiss. Because we always think that “IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME”.

In this first of three films, our Model Ambassadors take us back to that moment. The one they never saw coming. The fear they didn’t know how to name. And the impossible task of telling the people they love.

This is Before.

Watch till the end, and when you’re done, ask yourself, when was the last time you had a health screening done?

What a journey. 💛

So many beautiful memories and friendships have been made over the past six months — with the Fashion for Cancer (FFC) committee and volunteers as well as with my fellow cancer survivors and fighters.

And on 29 August 2026, more than 20 of us Model Ambassadors stepped onto the runway together.

Thank you, Yan @grey_evolution, for your vision for FFC and for giving us this opportunity to showcase our strength, resilience and courage.

A huge thank you to the FFC committee and volunteers for your tireless efforts leading up to and during the show. So many of you worked so hard, for so long, to give us this day of happiness — and a stage that truly belonged to us. We really can’t thank you enough. ❤️

And to our sponsors, thank you for your generosity and for believing in this meaningful cause.

To my family and friends who have supported me throughout my cancer journey and turned up for the show — I heard those excited screams that day! 😂 I hope you liked my wink. 😉

And to everyone in the audience, thank you for being so warm and encouraging. Your energy really helped to calm our nerves as we walked that runway!

But our journey doesn’t end with the show. We are now working towards our $250,000 fundraising target for the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) Cancer Fund, supporting cancer research and patient aid.

Fashion For Cancer 2026 was nothing short of extraordinary, and it would not have been possible without every single one of you who showed up, cheered, believed, and gave. Our fundraising effort is far from done, we have till end of 2026 to hit $250,000, but let’s just bask in the highs for now.

To our Model Ambassadors who walked with courage and with every bit of fighting spirit within, you are the reason we do this.

To our audience, donors, sponsors, supporters and our silent hero volunteers, thank you for making this night matter, and for making our mission of bringing A Day Of Happiness a success.
