Before heading out to the wineries in Temecula, we like to fill up on some Phil’s BBQ. Had to get some of ribs, both baby back and beefy. We like how on the baby back ribs, the meat just falls off the bone. The beefy rib does have quite a bit of meat to it. Their sandwiches are also tasty too, and recommend the El Toro which is their deli-sliced tri-tip topped with BBQ sauce. Our go to side are the onions rings, which are a must get at Phil’s BBQ. We definitely filled up on this trip.

yes, I’m the one who orders a sandwich at bbq places… we exist 🙆🏻‍♀️ my fam loves this place & will prioritize coming here at least once when visiting SD! their food is v meaty (ofc) and I think portions are very generous! 🍖 I did enjoy the sausage sandwich more than the pulled pork one but both were great - i mostly liked all the diff flavors of the sausage sandwich coming tgt 😋 I can’t really speak on the other dishes but the line/wait for this place is p insane so that should tell you something! ordered takeout during our 2nd visit to save some time, hence the takeout boxes, and it was still great! although the bun did get a little soggy 🥸

Viaje de ida y vuelta a San Diego desde Mexicali, todo lo que podemos hacer en un día @visitsandiego

Recuerda llevar muchas ganas y pilas porque tienes que hacer que el tiempo cuente y valga la pena para que puedas aprovechar al máximo.

Toma en cuenta que este es un viaje en auto desde Mexicali, saliendo muy temprano y agarrando camino de vuelta, alrededor de las 10 de la noche.

Claro, no tienes que hacer todo en un día, esta es una idea. Si tienes más tiempo divídelo en dos días para que lo hagas a tu ritmo y sin prisas.
