Operation Fig. Looks like we have one cutting rooting. It’s always hard to pick a spot but this is the old compost area that the chickens love for a dust bath. I still have some in pots but 🤷‍♀️. 50 year + fig tree propagation. 🙏

Hey Fig Fam @dirtypunkgardening is one of my buddies and has a question on his happy, growing fig tree! It’s looks like his fig took off a little late in the season and may not ripen fruit in time before winter but I anticipate plenty of figs next year.

It’s happens with maturing trees and I hope all is well Jeremy. Thanks for every you do!

Has this happened to you before and will they ripen in time?

Phil

We had an absolute blast in Greenville at Figpalooza! 🌿💚

We love figs and growing them, so getting to see, learn about, and buy some new varieties we didn’t have was SO much fun! And we even got to meet some of our favorite fig influencers… yes, that’s a thing! 😂🌱

But honestly, my favorite part is getting to do life with this man of mine. ❤️ Whether we’re traveling, gardening, hunting down new fig varieties, or just doing the everyday stuff, I’m so grateful I get to do it all with him.

Every moment together is a blessing, and I never want to take that for granted. 🥰🌿

Shoutout to @philsfigs for wanting and pushing to grow the fig community. We all learn from each other and make each other better. Here’s my setup; I want to show that you can grow figs anywhere regardless of how much space you have or how cold it gets! Figs for everyone!
