What we bring to cannabis shapes our relationship with it.

Are you genuinely choosing to be single, or are you avoiding the vulnerability?🙈

Chasing women just because you can, because you're bored, lonely, or need validation, isn't a sign of ambition. It's often just restlessness disguised as romantic pursuit.

But don't fool yourself into thinking that avoiding relationships automatically makes you disciplined, independent, or emotionally strong.

Maybe you're protecting your peace. Or maybe you're protecting your ego from rejection, your comfort from compromise, and your routine from the demands of letting someone get close.

There's nothing wrong with being single. There's something wrong with using singlehood as a hiding place while convincing yourself you're above the very connection you secretly want.

HIGH CALIBER HOMEWORK:

Stop pursuing women just to prove you can attract them. If you meet someone who genuinely excites you, pursue her with intention. Let the experience challenge you, expose your weaknesses, and push you to grow. Respect her choices, and never confuse passion with entitlement.

If you're choosing to stay single, be honest about why. Is it to pursue your passions or a convenient excuse to avoid the risks of intimacy?

You don't need a woman to become a complete man. But you shouldn't need to deny your desire for connection to feel like one, either.

Either pursue a meaningful passion with courage, or embrace singlehood with honesty. Stop drifting between craving connection and running from it.

Be intentional. Be courageous. Grow.

Three experiments found that engaging in novel, exciting activities together increased experienced relationship quality, supporting the value of shared growth and exploration in romantic relationships.

😐 Are you looking for a woman to love, or a woman to prove to the world that you've made it?

To earn respect from other men.
To show off your beautiful girlfriend.

To complete that perfect image of the successful man?

Or maybe you're just tired of being alone. You feel like a loser eating or going to themovies on your own.

So you find a woman, keep her happy, provide, go through the motions, and tell yourself this is what "a man" is supposed to do.

But deep down, you're not building a relationship.

You're maintaining a fucking charade.

She isn't a status symbol! She isn't a trophy or an accessory.

Most of all, she ain´t your therapist or fixer. If you cannot enjoy your own company, don't expect her to fix that emptiness. Don´t expect her to enjoy your company either.

If loneliness is the only thing pushing you toward her, you're not choosing her. You're escaping.

A woman isn't supposed to paint your life with color because you refuse to pick up the brush yourself.

HIGH CALIBER HOMEWORK:

Build a life you'd genuinely enjoy even if nobody was watching.

Find your passions. Strengthen your friendships. Learn to enjoy your own company.

Then ask yourself: If I didn't need a girlfriend to prove anything, would I still choose this woman?

Because the goal isn't to find someone who completes your image.

It's to find someone you genuinely want beside you while you enjoy life.

Their research linked more autonomous, intrinsic motivation for being in a relationship with greater relationship satisfaction and commitment after disagreements. Basically, date yourself and for yourself, and a great compatible woman will want to follow that drive.

Do you love being alone? or are you escaping a lack of love?😭

We talk about smoking, drinking, and bad diets as threats to our health. But how about loneliness?

Men learn to tolerate it. Hide it. Bury it under work, gaming, the gym, and the excuse that we don't need anybody.

Here's the ugly truth: chronic loneliness isn't just feeling sad. It's a serious health risk.

Research has linked loneliness and social isolation to a higher risk of premature death. As researchers have compared the health risks of social disconnection to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day. It's a useful comparison, not a literal prediction. But it is worrying nonetheless,

This week, stop waiting for someone to rescue you from loneliness. Call a friend you haven't spoken to in months. Invite someone to grab a coffee.

Join a group, return to a hobby, or make plans that get you out of the house and around people.

And when someone asks how you're doing, give them something more honest than “I'm good, man.”

You don't need a hundred friends.

You need a real connection. People who know you, people you can count on, and people you allow to know the man behind the performance.

HIGH CALIBER HOMEWORK:

Stop treating isolation like strength. Start building a life that includes good people.

SOURCE: Holt-Lunstad, Smith & Layton (2010), Social Relationships and Mortality Risk: A Meta-analytic Review. An analysis of 148 studies involving over 300,000 participants found that stronger social relationships were associated with a 50% greater likelihood of survival. While the health impact of lacking social connection was comparable to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day.
