Grateful is an understatement, but it will have to do for now. My journal will receive the fullness of this experience alongside my immense appreciation for some of the most beautiful, unique, and strong individuals I got to share it with.

I’m sitting down tonight just recalling the details that make up this chapter of my life.

I remember one evening, after coming home from a mission the Lord led me on, I sat under a tree and began to pray. As the Lord and I spoke together, He told me He wanted me to fly for Him.

I love people. I love writing. More than anything, I love my Lord, who has been so deeply kind to my soul.

The people closest to me know the ways the Lord has guided and spoken to me throughout my life. Through prayer, through dreams, through moments of conviction and clarity, He has continually shown me His heart for people, countries, and even me.

He loves with an everlasting, unrelenting, persistent, pure love.

I remember simply saying, “Okay Lord, Your will be done.”

And now, a year later, here I am.

Just ready to love the soul in front of me, go when He tells me to go, and not forget to enjoy the journey of life, which holds every human emotion in one place — my heart, hidden in His heart.

I hope to go on and love, to write, and to share memories with anyone who might be encouraged by them. I’m sure I’ll share some from these past 7 weeks at some point.

Just know every person you see in these photos is so very special, & this world is much better because they’re in it. ✈️❤️
