Henry Tyler was a prominent 19th century weaver who placed a trademark lion in the corner blocks of his coverlets. This cotton, jacquard lap blanket was interpreted from one of his coverlets in the collection of the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum in Colonial Williamsburg. @philzyb85 recently deaccessioned this blanket from his extensive Williamsburg Reproductions collection, and I acquired it from him.
