Our annual olive family harvest! 🫒 👨🏽‍🌾 👩‍🌾

It’s important for kids to understand where their food comes from—and just as important for us adults to understand where and how our food is sourced.

A little olive harvest today, olive oil tomorrow. Teaching them to appreciate the land, the work, and the process behind what ends up on our table. 🌿

Had the pleasure of cooking alongside Valentin @chefsale__ for two weeks at the ranch. 🤠🔥

We sourced our ingredients from local farmers and friends, cooked for family and friends, opened plenty of our family’s wines, and simply enjoyed being around the table breaking 🥖🍷🍤🥩🥬

There was something really special about slowing down, cooking outside with what was around us, and sharing it with people we love.

Even more rewarding was spending time with such a talented young chef—full of life, curiosity, and passion for his craft.

It makes me excited to see what the next generation of people in wine, food, and hospitality will bring to the table. The future is bright! 🙏🏻

Big Creek Lodge wasn’t just a hunting trip — it was a reminder of what true conservation looks like.
We were welcomed by gobblers, good wine, and stories by the fire, but what inspired me most was stepping into Ed’s thousand-acre marshland… a sanctuary he’s protected and restored for generations of waterfowl.
Millions of ducks call this place home because of the work of hunters like Ed — people who give back more than they take.
Harvesting a few mallards, watching teal tear through the decoys, sharing laughs with friends, and cooking duck in the smoker… it all hits different when you realize you’re standing on land built on stewardship.
Proud to see there are hunters out there doing so much for conservation. That’s the legacy. That’s the mission.
The road goes on forever… and the party never ends. 🦆🌾🤠🙏🏻
