Today is the FAB14’s AKAversary! Talk nice to us 💕💚. In our time as a line we’ve gone through births, moves, marriages, death and divorce. Despite the life changes, one thing that will never change is our love for each other. Happy AKAversary FAB14!!

In case you forgot who I am or don’t know me at all, here’s a slice of my journey. 💛

I’m the same, but different.

Just started this fun read in the #Bestiebookclub at the recommendation of my Seesy. I’m 100 pages in and I have some choice words but the book is short so I’ll reserve my full comments for now.

Just know that I’m here for the take on Medusa being a brown skinned beauty with locs!

“𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀” gets said a lot.

But what if students didn’t just prepare for
investment careers?

What if they practiced them?

The 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗜𝗣𝗘) 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 prepares faculty to launch a credit-bearing, hands-on investing course where students engage
real companies and work with real capital within a structured framework.

Not simulations.
𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘄.
Rolling acceptance.
𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘀: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟰 + 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟵.

If this belongs in your department, on your campus, or at your alma mater, tag the person who should see this.

If you’re ready to lead it, let’s connect.

Grief comes in waves… and today feels like a tsunami.
💔
Jerrell—my dear friend, my brother, a son, a GENIUS, and a mentor. You were truly loved.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you won’t be calling me anymore—checking on me, checking me, guiding me, talking me off the edge 😥, celebrating me. I don’t want to question God’s timing, but man… this hurts.

Celebrating you this week with all the beautiful souls you touched was such a gift. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I was standing in that love, in that legacy, your legacy!

I promise I’ll make you proud. I promise to say your name for years to come.
And yes… I’ll work on being “Willy Nilly”—because only you could call me that.

We lost a real one. But you instilled so much in each of us, and your legacy will live on through us.

Until we meet again… rest well, Rell.
Love you to infinity ♾️💙

Happy Birthday To Me 🎊🎉

10.14. MCMLXXVI ♎️

Kicked off the birthday month in Atlanta, receiving the Music Executive Award at the 2025 Living Legends Gala. What an honor and a blessing to be recognized by my peers and to have my family and my tribe called friends there to cheer me on. My heart is still full from the overwhelming love and support from my peers, friends, sisters, and family.

If you would have told the little girl who couldn’t live without her radio (on some LL ish) that one day she would share the stage with Legends such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis… I don’t know if she’d believe you.

Thank you LIVING LEGENDS FOUNDATION for such an honor and highlight. I appreciate the flowers when I can still smell them. Thank you to everyone who continues to root for me in the rooms I’m not in. Thank you, and happy 10.14 to me!

Legends leave impact that create ripples for generations to come. My Sam, is a visionary, a conduit and a connector, and a woman who amplifies the good at every turn. She is known for her passion, her ability to elevate people and she lives in her God given purpose every day as she amplifies the art and the culture. Celebrating THE #LivingLegend with our golden girls this weekend! Congratulations to my BFF @SamTheHypeBeast - Thank you to @livinglegendsfoundation for seeing in #her what her lifelong friends already know… Sam is 1 of 1 (a true legend) ❤️
