What if the land had a voice in the stories we create?
Animist Arts brings artists, communities
and the more than human world into a shared creative process.
We listen to the land, to one another and the thresholds that we’re all living through,
and translate what we hear into our arts
into movement into poetry into ritual into sound
into theater.
At its heart Animist Arts is about remembering
how to listen,
how to cocreate together
and how art can become a practice
for relationship
for transformation
and for co weaving a more regenerative future.

Mackenzie’s song from the Mother Tree ❤️🌳

‘I pray that you can always hear me.
Please remember your roots,
live in presence and gratitude.
Offer yourself to the earth,
Where you came to be birthed.’

THE STORY BEHIND OUR MOTHER TREE 🌳✨

For months before we gathered for Enliven 2026, the team behind Regenesiis was already in relationship with the spirit that would eventually become the heart of this year’s gathering.

Our Mother Tree.

Through months of connection, listening and creation, Regenesiis brought this year’s Mother Tree theme to life through ritual theatre and the artful curation of the tree that stood among us throughout the festival.

At the centre of that vision was @phoebe.fae , Ritual Theatre Director, Stage Designer and director of Regenesiis.
Phoebe is a ritual artist whose work is devoted to bringing more-than-human voices into council during changing times. Working with sculpture as an oracular medium, she creates pieces that open pathways for communion with bioregional nature spirits, bringing their stories and teachings into form through ritual theatre.

Mother Tree became a place to gather.
A place to witness.
A place to return to.
And a living thread woven through the story of Enliven 2026.

A very special thank you to Phoebe for carrying this vision, and to the entire Regenesiis team for spending months tending to it and ultimately bringing our Mother Tree to life.
We feel deeply grateful for what you created in service to this community. 🌿

We practice ritual theatre as a way of communing with the more-than-human world and sharing their stories.
This year our more than human ally was the Mother-Tree, it was an honour to bring you her teachings at @enlivenfestivalbc at Princeton, BC. and Beaver Point hall in Salt Spring Island.

The most intimate place to be in connection is through creation.

We therefore cultivate;

•creation in sisterhood
•creation in ceremony
•creation in community
•in co-creation with nature

to deepen our collective connection.

The four elements of Regenesiis; a ritual theatre performance.

•Prayer

•Movement

•Visual

•Sonic

Together, we bring an immersive experience that engages the collective through ceremony and mythic architecture.

We are so honoured to have been part of @enlivenfestivalbc this summer.

Bringing Regenesiis by @creation.temple to @enlivenfestivalbc was a dream come true ❤️‍🔥 the rage scene featuring my latest release “Can You Hold Me?” performed in light language was where this sonic prayer belonged 🙏🏻

The sacred rage of the Divine Feminine, channeled through each of us by the Mother Tree consciousness brought to light how we feel to protect the sacred elemental world from destruction… and the rage of her voice breathed through each of us 🔥

This song was created to alchemise ancestral rage towards the masculine for abusing and neglecting the women in my lineage. It is of no surprise that this sonic alchemy was brought into a ritual theatre prayer where the pain of Mother Earth being destroyed by humanity was expressed, and alchemised. 🧬

The song was performed in light language to hold the integrity of this unique transmission for the Mother Tree. I felt into her energy, her voice, her unique story and sang from this energetic blueprint. I am feeling to release this unique transmission as “Can You Hold Me? - Light Language Mother Tree Transmission” 🌿

Let me know in the poll below if I should release it 🤗

REGENESIS 🌊

Regeneration is not a solitary act.
Like a forest, we become through relationship;
roots intertwined beneath the surface,
each carrying our own gifts,
each nourishing the whole.

We gathered around a living prayer
and allowed it to move through us,
through creation, rage, grief, beauty, play and love.

And somewhere in the alchemy,
the prayer began changing us too.

REMEMBER 🌳

The Mother Tree has been speaking all along.
Beneath the noise,
beneath the forgetting,
beneath the illusion that we were ever separate.
She calls us back into relationship.

With the Earth.
With each other.
With the wild intelligence within our own bodies.
We don't need to invent our way home.
We need to remember.
