Nothing could’ve prepared me for what happened the other night. Van Alstyne Volleyball has always been such a big important thing in my life, from my freshman year being on Jv2 then being pulled up to Jv1. From playing all around on Jv1 then being pulled up to Varsity my sophomore year. From then being placed on a team with limited spots, to then getting playing time as right side to then middle. From coming into my Senior year with lots of doubts on how this season would go to then doing the best as a team and finally finding my place as an outside.I have learned many things but the most important is that no matter the outcome, we still had each other. Thank you to my team, I love my team with all my heart , this year especially I have felt loved no matter what. Thank you for always letting me be my fun silly self. I will miss the pre game locker room dances and falling to the ground instantly after a big point. Thank you to all my family and friends who are my biggest cheerleaders. Last but not least thank you Van Alstyne High School, these past four years have gone by too fast and I’m not ready to leave the place I’ve grown up. I couldn’t imagine my High School career any differently. This season has made me realize that I want to pursue a collegiate volleyball career. I am excited for what the future holds but I am sad for what I have to leave behind. KILLA K out, #8 out.🥲
