What a summer it has been, and I guess it’s not done yet. Last night we opened the third and final act of the Swans Script @dimin.nyc with @rachel__cope @city_sarah @maxrazdow alongside Blizzard at the gallery.

It was fun and inspiring, magical how it all came together so beautifully. And what an intense six weeks it has been. Mark was hospitalized with a respiratory infection for 4 days in France, which was so scary! He’s better now 🙏 Fairfield decided to skip camp for half of the summer making it really really hard to work. It’s really something being an artist mom. When structures like school and camp aren’t there it’s almost impossible to focus on work and be the good mom I want to be. It’s a constant battle with screens vying for children’s attention, especially when I’m already exhausted from a very full life.

I’m grateful we survived and even thrived, made new friends, we even got a puppy to top it all off!
.
Thank you for this crazy life! My cup is full and I’m off to celebrate with dear old friends in California before our annual family beach trip to Fairhaven.

CALL FOR EMERGING ARTISTS 🎨

The CherryArts Emerging Artist program helps five new, emerging artists prepare for and participate in the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Each selected emerging artist—defined as an artist near the beginning of their career—receives $5,000 in unrestricted funds to pursue any investment that supports their work. What an opening!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate Now and Next at Dryden Gallery. The reception was packed.

Thanks to Dryden for inviting me to guest curate this exhibition and to all the fantastic artists who contributed. It’s so fun to share works by a bunch of great emerging talents in this light-filled space.

I’ll be sharing more artworks from the show and installation views, but I hope you’ll visit it during its run. It’s on view through November 7 and the gallery is open Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm each day.

It's a @castlerockart Social Media Takeover!

Although TAP and Castle Rock Artist Alliance (CRAA) ultimately have different missions, we do share a common goal: fostering opportunities for the presentation of art. Each month, CRAA will pop in at TAP to provide two curated lists for both artists and art enthusiasts:

1. Local Exhibitions: Discover a curated selection of current, local exhibitions. Visit these shows to get inspired and connect with the exceptional artists and art venues across Colorado.

2. Exhibition Opportunities: Look forward to upcoming lists detailing exhibition opportunities for both established and emerging artists.

CRAA is committed to supporting local artists by enhancing knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of all art forms through regular meetings, informative programs, exhibitions, demonstrations, and exposure opportunities.
