POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A post for the rest of my trip. Starting with a couple from when Hannah was still here that had previously only made it into stories, and ending with a very random assortment of photos and videos from my three solo days. I forgot to take pictures when I was by myself! I also forgot to eat. But after four days of over-eating… maybe that was the most balanced thing to do. Haha.
1. Cafe Mogador
2/3. Night 3 with Hannah in Times Square and then a cute 24 hour Cuban Diner that we visited two nights in a row, called Coppelia.
4. A little video from the bench I sat on for an hour or so in Central Park.
5. These carvings that were at The Met of young men who look exactly like me. Hahahah
6/7. Visiting Phoebe and Claire and my little new best friend in Astoria. We didn’t take enough pictures together. We were busy talking.
8/9. These carvings only two photos I took while visiting my friend in Beacon. Woops! Again, busy talking. The second one is of the teeniest little rainbow. It was so sweet!
10/11. Last night. Pizza for one and FaceTiming with my kids.
12/13. Visited Joe Jr for my last breakfast before checking out of my hotel and heading to the airport. I met a woman in her 70s who sat next to me at the counter, and now we know everything about one another. Kindred spirits. When I left, we said “well, lovely to meet you! Have a great life!”
14. Leaving my hotel room. 🥲
15/16. From the sky en route to Seattle. So pretty. Sigh…

Going through a drawer full of old things, and I found this collection of photos I took of my friends and developed in high school photography class. These were the ones that I considered “mess ups” because I didn’t develop them to my liking. I don’t know if I have the “good” ones anywhere anymore. I won a photography prize for the first one in the bunch. But this version is a little overly developed. I called it “Ashley as a Triangle.” It was a series I styled and took of her, hoping to make them look like I could have been shooting Twiggy for a fashion magazine in the 60s. ☺️ The last two photos are some that Ashley took of me. But those ones were post high school. Maybe circa 2007?

I am surprised and filled with gratitude. It means a lot for this little film to resonate with so many audiences! Thank you @festivalregard 🙇🏼‍♂️

Last nights screening of “The Great Cherokee Grandmother” @siffnews was a blast! Probably the best programmed shorts block I’ve been a part of. Thank you!

We’re playing Seattle International Film Festival on Friday May 16th at 7pm.

Super excited to attend, the last time I was in Seattle was Halloween 2005.

Thanks again to all of our team, our mentees, @museumofthecherokeepeople @samansajpn and of course @siffnews

Though they are no longer in Park City, The Park Record was kind enough to have me for an in-depth interview.
