ARE Y’ALL COMING TO CAMP FIRE TALES?!

Come watch me, @thatwillwhite, and @hydeography try to survive the latest campy horror DnD/Are You Afraid Of The Dark hybrid from inside the minds of @phoenixdownrpg. 🔥🔪🫣

Last season, I got to play as a woman so absorbed in her MLM that she didn’t recognize the threat in front of her even when it was literally on top of her. (Turns out that thieves oil doesn’t work against large knives, y’all. So sad. We were so close to earning that platinum level diamond-encrusted rose gold VW bug.)

Come see who I am and what fate befalls me on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 7 PM at @divinebarrelclt. Tickets in our linktree!

“The bridges are already built. We need people to take the risk and cross those bridges.” — Manolo Betancur, @manolosbakeryclt

That message echoed throughout last week’s @sharecharlotte Community Impact Summit, where nonprofit leaders, creatives, community partners, and changemakers gathered to discuss connection, civic engagement, coalition-building, and what it means to truly show up for one another in a rapidly growing city.

From conversations around cultural connection and food insecurity to creativity and civic participation, one theme continued to rise to the surface: stronger communities are built through participation, trust, and human connection.

Thank you to SHARE Charlotte, Charlotte Is Creative, Foundation For The Carolinas, and the many voices who helped make the day so meaningful.

The 2026 Community Impact Summit was co-hosted by The Robinson Center for Civic Leadership at @fftcarolinas and @sharecharlotte at the @carolinatheatreclt!

@cltiscreative was proud to be their creative partner in planning the event where @mattolincreative introduced @phoenixdownrpg introduced five different instruments in their quintet represented five of the constituent groups — each of whom play a vital part of the ecosystem that makes civic leadership possible. Then the five musicians played Umoja, by composer Valerie Coleman, as an expression of our community’s unity and power when we work together.

We also introduced Zacch Estrada-Petersen, founder of the @brighterdaycommunitychoir_clt, who got the audience to sing in three-part harmony as a living, breathing example of what’s possible when we listen, contribute and come together.

Stay tuned in the coming months as FFTC reveals more about their exciting new fftc: FWD platform — an innovative civic empowerment and engagement initiative that will expand access to information and insights on our community’s most pressing challenges, strengthen our community’s ability to see and understand who is doing what, and make it easier and faster for more people, organizations, and institutions to Find What You Need to Lead.
