I really thought @sierra.m was joking when she said we should bring back my “let it rock” choreo for ICONIC. But here we are 2 months later after that convo and I’m so glad we committed to the bit 😂

I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing besties who were part of this set 💜 About two weeks before the show, I got really sick and found out I wouldn’t be able to perform with my team. I was really sad, but watching everyone step up to help each other learn, clean, and perfect the choreography was truly inspiring. Y’all’s hard work, dedication, and support for one another made me so proud. I truly enjoyed the time we spent working together for this set — I hope we can make more memories together in the future 🙂‍↕️

Thank you bestie Sierra for organizing the whole thing together, you’re an absolute queen at everything you do and I always love working with you 💕

Shoutout to @justkkhant for being my sub, you really learned all my parts in 2 hours and hella slayed that better than I would’ve ‼️

Thank you @iconiccompetition and @fridaynighthiphop for having us! Always appreciate you giving the dance community a space to share our creativity ✨

Thank you @stephonvan for capturing the major slayage on stage!

we might have selected this song and said we would do a set to it as a joke but then we committed to the bit like never before. im so grateful to work with so many amazing dancers who brought the entire vision to life and worked so hard with each part (shoutout ryan for the video of all of us learning hips LOL) i already told yall but i have an incredible time learning and teaching this set and im so grateful to do it with all of yall🥺🫶🏻 it really do be about the journey (the destination was pretty slay as well tho!!!) thank you for trusting me and celina and wanting to learn this with us, it was truly the best process🤭🫶🏻 (and im sorry for each and every one of you that got smacked trying to do the transitions but we made it happen LOL)

big thank you to celina for sharing her big brain work with us for that first half, you put us to work in the best way possible and im so happy any time i get to do your choreo🥺

thank you so much to @iconiccompetition and @fridaynighthiphop for having us and our silly vibes at your event!!!!! it means the world to get to perform our piece on stage!

NEW CLASS ALERT! We are SOO excited to be bringing Contemporary to our weekly adult class schedule at U-DISTRICT!

Come dance with @phoenixie EVERY SATURDAY, starting 4/19!

⚡️INTRO + BEG CONTEMPORARY @ 12:30PM
Flow, feel, and find your groove. This class is all about exploring the foundations of Contemporary dance—fluid movement, expressive storytelling, and dynamic transitions. Whether you’re new to dance or just new to Contemporary, you’ll learn choreography that lets you move with confidence while tapping into your artistic side. No experience is needed—just a willingness to move!

⚡️INT + ADV CONTEMPORARY @ 2PM
Push past the basics and dive into intricate movement, musicality, and technique. This class blends Contemporary’s signature fluidity with bold dynamics, floorwork, and moments of explosive power. Expect to challenge your control, explore emotional expression, and pick up choreography that makes you feel like you’re dancing through a dream (or a really dramatic movie scene).
