What happens when a boy refuses to let the streets decide his story?
As a Surulere boy, I grew up watching raw talent vanish into flames — lost to gangs, drugs, and every negative pull you can imagine. I told myself I’d be different. I’d be the exception. I was blessed with opportunities many around me didn’t have, and I’ve never taken that for granted.

I love sports — football, running, swimming — but boxing? Boxing has my heart. Back then, street fights weren’t just entertainment, they were religion. Every street had its champion, a boxer we all looked up to… until it all faded away.

Then I met Omo London. @omo_london
An 18-year-old fighter who’s not just boxing opponents — he’s fighting for freedom from the streets, the struggle, and the fate that’s swallowed too many before him. I’ve watched him train, I’ve seen him take on two people at once without fear, and I know a gem when I see one.

I’m telling his story. First through a documentary — OUT OF LÉRE (A Gidi Experience) — and now through moments like this training clip.
His fight is coming. His name is Glory. He’s part of my Gidi Experience.
