End of an Era. Massive thanks to @churchtown_steel_engineering_ We would not have @twofussyblokes in Ireland without them. Big congratulations to @colourfulsaz on the new arrival and @phoneboxman and @crazy_and_retro becoming a grandparents who were a massive part of our journey with the lads Glenn and Steo #phoneboxchallenge

Thought I'd compile some of our projects from the last while. My dad has helped me in every corner of my house. Whether hes physically there doing the (free) labour or i'm calling him for advice. Theres no project he didnt have some input on. I'm amazed by the different skills he's taught me everytime. Anyways I'm dying sick so no diy for a while!

GPO 1920s 156 CB Candlestick Telephone. I have recently added a GPO 1920s era Braided Cord which is original of that period to the receiver connecting on the instrument to enable to hook receiver to operate. It’s always great to put things back how it would of once been 🇬🇧 #repair #restore #restorefrombackup #restored #restoration #care #tlc #candlestick #candlesticks #telephone #150

GPO 1935 K6 Telephone Kiosk, seen at Amberley Museum, preserved and kept with A and B coin operated coin box, bakelite 232 series whilst the kiosk had a place for a timer for the lighting, and the exchange holding the timing of the call. Yh kiosk also held an area for telephone directory if unsure for users, at this time the number 999 had just come in 1935 to avoid confusing the dials and allowing a separate switchboard for the number. The speaking click in 1936 by Ethel Jane Cain meant the public could safely find the time without venturing out on the streets to find a policeman 🇬🇧 #k6 #telephonekiosk #telephonebox #telephonebooth #telephoneboxesofinstagram #téléphone #londontelephone #love #insta #instamood

It's stressful going bold with furniture because you can worry it'll be too much or you'll get sick of it. I cant see that happening here I have to say. I love this colour so much it's a rusty orange but it almost looks red in this room. It looks so nice with the paint too, it's as if I planned it. Which of course I didn't 😂 I couldn't think that far ahead, too many decisions in a new house.

Would you buy a bold coloured couch?

Three things I'd change about my pastel upcycled kitchen. 1. The fridge. Absolutely love the stripes from @made_of_sundays but feel the purple is too dark in here. 2. The table-definitely on the look out for a lighter colour table now to suit the floor and vine in here. Black chairs are not the vibe. 3. The pink double doors- was never really happy with the pink and stained glass combo so may have to get the paint brush out for those. What do you reckon, anything you'd change?
