The Feminist Mutual Aid Collective (FMAC) is a grassroots collective founded by diverse queer women in Toronto bringing mutual aid and harm reduction directly to our community throughout Parkdale, the Village, Moss Park and the GTA. We support women, queer folks, people who use substances, refugees, and people who are houseless or precariously housed.

This last winter we worked on foot and in a small car. It was exhausting, and winter supplies take up a lot of space. The vehicle we relied on was damaged in a winter storm while we were out doing outreach. This has had a significant impact on our ability to distribute, and we want to mitigate that factor before winter 2026.

A van changes everything.

It allows us to carry more supplies safely, reach more people faster, and stay out longer without burning out.

It also creates a mobile space where people can warm up, be transported to hospital if needed, and access care in a way that actually meets them where they are.

The city is decimating services. We know community works faster than government. We are completely self and community funded. Every dollar goes directly into outreach.

Your donation will help us:

• Deliver harm reduction and survival supplies directly to people who need them
• Support people living in housing insecurity or crisis
• Expand our mutual aid work and reach more of our community
• Build a safer, mobile space for care, transport, and support

Goal: $25,000 for a mobile outreach van (this will include insurance for the year as well as gas)

Every contribution matters. This is about keeping people alive, supported, and not abandoned.

Join us on September 13 for an evening of community, political education, food, art, and local vendors! Purchase tickets through the link in our bio! Entry is $15 or PWYC, we will be selling tickets at the doors.

As we prepare for the upcoming winter season, we want to bring our comrades and friends together to learn more about the specific challenges faced by people living and surviving on the streets—particularly Indigenous people and people who use drugs.

We’ll be screening two documentaries focused on some of the most pressing issues facing our communities: the ongoing fentanyl crisis, coupled with the lack of affordable housing and the limited resources available to our most vulnerable and marginalized neighbours.

We’ll follow the screenings with a community discussion led by Nunny of Tsekuki Stiches, a multidisciplinary Dene/Nlaka’pamux artist living in Tsi Tkaronto.

Lola and Pharoah will also be joining us to share their beautiful words of resistance, revolution, and love.

And once again, Julian from the Lost Chef will be providing our community with fresh food made from the heart. ❤️

Our generous vendors have agreed to showcase their art and donate a percentage of their profits raised during the evening to our ongoing survival outreach efforts. We’ll also be accepting donations from our most recent needs list for those who would like to contribute directly.

This evening is an opportunity to come together, learn from one another, share food, support local artists and vendors, and build solidarity as we prepare to face another winter together.

Summer Outreach Update

This summer 2026 has been a busy and community-focused one! We’ve been doing weekly outreach throughout Moss Park to Sherbourne and Dundas and Barbara Hall, as well as volunteering our skills at Sistering every month to give the women there makeovers, haircuts, and a fresh set of nails.

We’re also providing support for unhoused and precariously housed folks in Richmond Hill on a daily basis, in between our day jobs and other day-to-day responsibilities. As we focus the entirety of our capacity to building interpersonal relationships based on trust and care with folks on the streets, they’ve taught us so much about the ways they practice mutual aid and harm reduction with each other in their already radical lives.

Thanks to the amazing women organizing at
Sistering, we’ve been able to give out hundreds of harm reduction kits, including test strips for benzos and tranquilizers. The closure of safe consumption sites in Toronto and the complete lack of them in the GTA has made the need for accessible harm reduction even greater. This is even more true at a time when 90% of street-fentanyl is cut with at least one nervous/ respiratory system depressant.
We’ve responded to multiple overdoses, heat strokes, and other crises in the past few months.

We’ve also given away 15 tents to folks. These have been for long-term use, whether they needed extra storage space or a place to sleep, as well as for leverage to getting into shelter. We don’t stop at giving the tent to people. We help them set up and keep their space organized by doing clean-ups and laundry runs when requested.

The work we do is only possible through the support of our community! As a radical grassroots that rejects the charity model, without regular donations we wouldn’t be able to help sustain peoples’ survival and provide immediate support.

WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS! 🤭

We’re excited to announce we’re launching a WEBSITE! Find the link our bio or check it out at https://feministmutualaidcollective.neocities.org (note: no www at the beginning).

As part of this next chapter, All Peoples Fighting Oppression is now the Feminist Mutual Aid Collective.

This new name better reflects who we are, our values, and the work we’ve always been doing. While our name has changed, our commitment to mutual aid, abolition, and collective liberation remains the same.

Our website brings everything together in one place. You can now:

 • Read and download our flyers, and longer-form articles.
 • Access the text and sources behind our Instagram posts.
 • Learn more about our outreach and community work.
 • Shop our handmade fundraising jewelry, resale vintage items, and zines that support our mutual aid efforts.
 • Get in contact about volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved.
 • Follow our upcoming outreach vehicle fundraiser and other campaigns.

We’ve wanted a space where our resources, organizing, fundraising, and education could all live together, making them easier to access, share, and use.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us grow. We can’t wait to share what’s next.

✨ Welcome to the Feminist Mutual Aid Collective: Care. Community. Empowerment. ✨

The fascist who’s been raining hellfire on Ontario for over 8 years, known as Doug Ford, has normalized “wildfire season”. This is only one of the devastating impacts his hand of Death has cast over the people, the animals, the nature, and the long term future of this province. Every time it seems he can’t get worse, he never fails to surprise us with his absolute disdain for Life in all of it’s forms, that goes hand in hand with his thirst for power and profit.

Why should we be the ones living in dread of what’s coming so that this sorry excuse of a man can continue living his lavish dreams? Why should he feel safe, while KKKop cars guard his home 24/7 and further surveil our streets under his authority? This absolute fascist shouldn’t feel any ounce of security or comfort while he is in the vicinity of the people he is actively killing.

Flood his mailbox with letters and postcards, call and text his personal line, poster his information across the city. He is a public servant and this is public information! He should feel all of our eyes on him as the weight of his decision making has been felt exponentially by us.

Don’t let rage stop at destruction. We have been at a crucial point for decades to give land back to Indigenous peoples. They are always at the forefront of manmade disasters and are forced to endlessly fight against the consequences of what is still settler colonialism. As settlers, it is the bare minimum for us to be donating directly to Indigenous efforts while their homes are being burned down. From Palestine to Turtle Island a child’s land and all that it contains is our responsibility. Here, amongst our Indigenous neighbours, we can hold out a real material hand and offer support that can be touched. Please donate if you can and help hold others up when they need more than their own two feet.
