Your legacy is basically the history you leave behind. I hate to sound cliché but I’m just now entering into a new zone. Did this all INDEPENDENTLY. No label no big budget. Sometimes the harder thing to do is start. Just wanna thank all the producers I’ve ever worked with and all the artist I’ve ever did a song and all the video specialist I ever shot with yall are apart of my legacy and now it’s time to take this shit to a even higher level. RAP OR DIE MIXTAPE will carve a new stamp for me! Let’s get it. - TILLWEALLRICH #legacy #rap #music #independent

Long Post:

God told me to go back to college in 2021. I had earned my associate degree years before and thought I’d never return because I already knew my passion—Music. In April 2021, just after my 27th birthday, I was visiting Los Angeles. The trip didn’t go as planned, and that’s when God urged me to go back to school.

At the time, my son was two, and we had just moved to Seattle from Houston after I left a relationship and started fresh on my own. It didn’t make sense that God would call me back to Houston, the place I’d just left, but I listened. I enrolled at Prairie View A&M to attend an HBCU. Nothing made sense then, but I trusted God would reveal His plan.

When my lease ended in Seattle, we packed up and returned to Houston. The past three years in school have been full of challenges. I went full-time every semester and, through hard work, landed an internship with one of the top tech companies in the world, which eventually brought us to Los Angeles (another story for another day 😂).

Shoutout to my son for being THE BEST SON I COULD EVER ASK FOR. Doing homework or writing songs while cooking dinner, and him being so patient, was huge. I KNOW God and babies pick their parents because he truly made this possible.

I’m proud of myself for persevering through adversity—writing papers, making dinner every night, getting my son to bed, and still finding time to network or create music. None of this would’ve been possible without my mom’s help—or my mental clarity. God held my hand through it all, and I’m forever grateful.

To all the moms out there: we are not just mothers. We are so much more. We can pursue our dreams and still be great moms. Our kids will thank us later for the sacrifices.

Everything works out for the greater good—in His timing.
