Nothing brings a room together quite like a Friday night pelvic floor workshop and realising we’ve all been secretly worried about the exact same things 😂💛

Thank you to Mariam for making pelvic health feel so much less awkward, busting the myths, and helping us leave feeling so much more informed, empowered, and a little less embarrassed to talk about it and to all who attended 💖✨

Had an absolute blast completing the @whw_race this weekend! ❤️❤️🏔️Massive thanks to @ultrarundmc (the bestest coach around), @mariam_kilpatrick @physio_effect for getting me running pain free after a hip injury (and for being generally ace!) the exquisite @wildheartrunners gang (especially @alison.locke.52 for -53!- joyous miles together). Super grateful for all the hype messages over the weekend ❤️❤️ Thanks to my absolutely amazing crew who spent the whole weekend supporting (could not have asked for better) @stevencurrie83 @m_thistlethwaite & @dmcpartlin1 and endured what I can only imagine was some terrible patter with grace 💪💪💪and ofc @j1mcp and June for looking after the kids all weekend which deserves more than a goblet! ❤️you all made a wee dream come true 🥹 🥰

What a day with the Ascension Running community 🔥

We had the privilege of hosting an unforgettable event alongside elite runners @robsinco and @fatsimpson at the stunning @hiddenhorizonglamping Luxury Glamping pods ✨

The day kicked off with a group run through the breathtaking Old Kilpatrick Hills before heading back to the pods for food, recovery and good conversation. Massive thanks to @dicedmealprep for keeping everyone fuelled 👏 🍲

We wrapped things up with an inspiring Q&A and story session from both Robs — plenty laughs, lessons and motivation shared with everyone there.

Every attendee headed home with an unreal goodie bag featuring:
👕 Limited edition Ascension tees by the best @bebranded_uk 🫶🏻
💪 Magnesium spray from @fab.skincare
🧖 Discount cards for fantastic @wolftunaclub Wellness Lounge
⚡ Nutrition from our good friends @highlandfuelnutrition
🥤 and some amazing drinks from the amazing @tenzing
🕶️ @sonaterrauk sunglasses for our main guests 🫶🏻

Thank you to @vpmedia.scot and @caracontentco_ for capturing the best content from our day 🫶🏻

Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made the day what it was. More to come from Ascension Running 🚀

Pessary post! These little pink wonders have saved my sanity by giving me back freedom with exercise. I was fitted by an NHS nurse around a year postpartum with a ring pessary which I self manage and only wear for high impact exercise now like running. The NHS where I am don't fit the cubes but there are private physios that do like @physio_effect in Glasgow.
I really like the ring with the shelf because of the type of prolapse I have, it feels the most supportive. There are lots of different kinds and it can be a bit trial and error before you find the right fit but when you do it can be a real game changer.

Such a good night at our runners workshop with @physio_effect 🏃‍♀️✨ We truly learned loads!

We focused on running form, technique tweaks, best exercises, and injury prevention 💅

Loved seeing everyone hyping each other up, trying the drills (bands = humbling 😹)!

S/o to @bonaccorddrinks for keeping us hydrated!

More events like this please. Education + movement + yaps = elite combo.

I can’t explain how buzzing I am to finally be running again, and pain free!! 🥹🩷

Running is honestly where my whole fitness journey started. I used to set my alarm on my phone for 6am, put it on the other side of the room so I had to get up, lay my stuff out the night before and force myself out the door to try.
Over time I built it up until I was running 3–4 times a week and feeling the best I’d ever felt.

Not being able to run for months, (again🙄🤣) has genuinely been the worst and most frustrating time.

You don’t realise how much something means to you until you can’t do it anymore and running has given me so much confidence, routine and purpose over the years.

I’m taking it easy this time and not rushing anything, but today I did a wee bike and run session:

Bike: 2 min on / 30 sec off
Run: 2 min on / 30 sec off
x4
Honestly could’ve cried! So grateful ✨

Massive thank you to Jenny @physio_effect for helping me get back on my feet again 💗
