BLACK IDOLS ARE HERE TO STAY! ❤️
Happy Black History Month, RiFTERS! To be honest, I’ve struggled to figure out how to properly use my platform for positive change as we navigate such a dark and difficult time in history. As someone with dual nationality and whose parents are naturalized, it’s been an incredibly scary and painful thing to witness and I’ve frequently felt stuck on how best to help.
•
But, especially as an idol, I think that art can be an act of resistance in a time of such terror. I’ve found so much joy and solace in trying to improve and perfect my craft— and I’d like to try to extend that in the form of advocacy for my fellow Black artists as well! 💪🏾
•
This month, I’ll be making special posts to help advocate for the underrepresented Black and Brown members of the international idol community! I hope you’ll stay tuned and join me in helping support us! ✨

⚠️Shelter IS-26-1 Results: Really /Really/ Cold ⚠️

Despite the bitter horrible evil snow that made us question if it was really worth it to leave our toasty bunker: Isshocon was a delightful way to kick off the new genesis cycle ‼️

Thank you to everyone that came out to shelter! You were all such good little victim-we mean participants! With great attitudes and attention spans ‼️🖤 Huggeeee shout out to @tempestrose215 ! We were so happy to collab with our long time friend and OG survivor. It meant so much to share the stage with her again and we can't wait to bask in all the storms she's going to rain down in the future ⛈️⛈️

Immediately after shelter, we sprinted to the idolfest and lost our voices 🫡 Each and every one of the performers made this idolfest one of the most creative and engaging we've ever been to. We're so proud to have been able to perform alongside such talented and sweet humans (humans?) 🖤

Surely these bonds won't have consequences. (You will never be rid of us)

Lastly thank you to @d.1studios for allowing us to participate in their Nightwave Showcase ‼️ This event was so fun and featured such insane talent.

Every event this weekend had amazing energy and we can't thank everyone who took the time to talk to us enough! Your words mean so much and keep us motivated even when things are difficult (or cold. Maybe especially when its cold D:)

Now hopefully the next shelter is a little warmer. (Or else.)

The love we felt on stage at the masquerade was amazing! It was our first time participating in one and we were glad to show off our skit and dance!

Our sub-unit as AiNi ANGELS started off as a last-minute idea, but has blossomed into an amazing friendship and we’ll forever cherish this time we’ve gotten to spend dancing, fooling around, and getting to know one another.

Although these two angels will be apart for some time, THIS ISN’T THE END! We’re sure that our fates will cross once more to bring you another lively performance! We hope you support us both until then! 🪽😉

RAPID STEPS WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I’m so happy I could be part of the team that hosted the first ever standalone Idolfest in Michigan! MCing with Nat and running the FIP table was a great experience!! AND PERFORMING MY FIRST EVER 2.5D HOLOGRAM LIVE WITH THE REST OF YUMECON?! It was literally a dream come true. Standing on that stage alongside Silver, Rei, and Neo. . . . It’s something I’ve wanted to do forever now. I’m happy I could finally make that a reality. Everyone did such a good job during the performance, I’m so happy Yume Connect could be part of it.
