Now that we've been back home for a few weeks and had time to adjust back to reality, I wanted to share some highlights from this summer. This ship. The people on board. The beautiful sights. The friendships woven, and the memories made... this was a summer for the books.
PS. Sorry for the excessive tags - feel free to ignore! And if you weren't tagged or personally called out, please don't be offended! You all meant the world to use. Instagram just limits the number of photos and tags that we're allowed to post. Lol

Shout out to these two for making us laugh every week at TWMA 😂🥰
Bobby was the first castmember (that we didn't already know from previous years) to reach out and make us feel welcomed when we first boarded. That meant so much to us! And Clara and I loved nerdying out with Beth once we got to know her (DnD, Critical Role, etc).
Both so fun and talented!

Clara has unintentionally developed a tradition of getting her first character picture onboard with Belle (with a few exceptions). So happy that it happened again! --- PS. Belle, if you ever read this: thank you for always taking moments out of your day to talk to Clara, asking her questions, talking to her like a mini-adult, and making her feel so loved 💛

So many laughs with all of the characters. This particular moment brought literal laughter tears 🤣

Gus Gus loved meeting Cinderelly.
PS. Cinderella, if you ever read this: Marshall still talks about playing 'Hide and Squeak' with you, and he makes us reenact it at home. Lol. Thank you for being so sweet to him. 🩵

The difference two years makes 😢 We are so incredibly lucky to have sailed with Karen again. She has always been so good to our family, and we genuinely love her. PS. Thanks for the dance lessons! 😁

Wet, windy, and fun day in Ketchikan! I didn’t have an excursion scheduled, so I enjoyed scootering around the town. Unlike the previous ports, this one felt much more like a real city that just happened to have alot of souvenir stores and tourists. #ketchikan #alaska #cruise

I got a map and made it my mission to get to Creek Street, because I heard about the colorful buildings and that you could see salmon swimming in the creek.

Lots of salmon!! Unfortunately, this is where they spawn (have babies) and then die. Idk what draws them here if that’s their fate 😢.

What a gorgeous place.

I stopped at a candy store, @ketchicandiesak, and got some huckleberry taffy, various fruit-flavored jellies, and pickle-flavored sour belt 😆. I also met an employee’s dog, Buck 😍 (pic will be in my dog post). Not a fan of ai flyers, but this one was helpful in explaining what huckleberry is.

A screw fell off my scooter’s seat in one of the souvenir stores (I only noticed when I realized the seat wasnt staying in the right place). Luckily, I found it close by and an employee had the right wrench to fix it 😅.

I took pics of flyers outside a bookstore (that my scooter wouldnt fit in-sigh). I think the most fun thing you can do when you visit a new place is to see what local life is like (talk to ppl, go to small businesses).

@jellyfishdonutss is off to the side of the main tourist area, but somehow, I heard they make $11,000 a day 😯. They sell interesting flavored donuts, including a $13 salmon one. Love the colors and artwork on the building and inside.

My favorite place I visited in Ketchikan was the last, @woodlandsak. It’s locally-owned and thoughtfully curated. The designs/artwork on the stickers, magnets, and t-shirts is done by the owner. Apparently it’s known on tiktok and that draws people in! I just am glad I scootered to an area outside of the main touristy section.

I talked with the owner about how ai graphics have taken over even in this small town, and their parade’s banners were all made with it last year 🙄. I really liked her artwork
