The thing about life is not everything is black and white. There is a huge grey area that we aren't in control of. God is. I know that God put me on this stage is his timing. I truly believe he allowed me to close a huge portion of my life. Pageants have truthfully shaped me into the confident, independent, and servant woman that I am today. However, they can take a huge toll on your anxiety and stress. With such huge life goals, I know that my focus must be on school and chasing those dreams. I also know that it is God's timing for me to close this chapter and focus on a new one. I believe this time is for me to focus on the important things in life. I have a huge graduate school exam to focus on and fulfilling the college experience within my last 2 semesters at the school of my dreams. Does this mean you will never see me back on stage again? Not exactly. I am already dreaming of walking across stage again with thrilling empowerment. However, this walk will come in due time. In God's time. Thank you to everyone that has supported me, but especially my parents and Grammy for chasing my dreams across the country with me. I will forever be indebted to you for everything that you have done for me. I would not be the person I am today without your guidance and support. I love you more than life. Janet Richardson, thank you for your guidance throughout my entire journey. Without your words of wisdom, I would have never stepped foot on a stage to embark on this journey and wow has it been a wild one. Wes Gandy, thank you for unapologetically being you. You have helped me flourish and be true to myself. It is because of you that I can confidently walk out of an interview and know that the judges know my heart. Doreena Mink, Savannah, and Shane, thank you for trusting in me. I have never been so spoiled and felt so supported within such a short amount of time. I plan to continue to serve this amazing state and know that I will be fully backed by a powerful team.

I am a firm believer that when one door closes, another door opens. Here's to the next chapter in life.

You’re not a TRUE pageant girl until you’ve faced some type of judgement from people.

What crazy assumptions have people made about pageants and voiced to you? ⬇️😘⬇️

One of my favorite shows is Ted Lasso. He says something that I have always used as a catalyst when meeting new people even before the show streamed and I wish more people would: “Be Curious, not judgmental.” ❤️👑

PS…if you’re CURIOUS about participating in a pageant that empowers girls and women, DM me.❤️
