Tuesday night took me over to Piccolo Lounge in Ely, Cambridgeshire, to paint an old favourite — Woodland Fox 🦊🎨

Such a lovely bunch of budding artists, all finding their way through this little beauty, one brushstroke at a time. Same starting point, everyone’s own little twist. That’s the bit I love!

All I can say is… this whole painting shenanigans is addictive. You come for a night out and suddenly you’re wondering where you could fit an easel 😂

Fancy finding out what all the fuss is about? Comment PAINT and I’ll point you towards your next paint night! ⚡️

Grab a cup of tea, let’s have a chat ☕️🎨

A little catch-up on what’s coming up at The Funky Easel… with an unexpected spooky moment thrown in 😂🐦‍⬛ I thought someone was knocking at the door just as I was talking about crows and ravens. Nobody there. Very season of the witch…

Here’s where we’re painting next:

🎃 Tonight: Pumpkin & Sunflower at The Marquis in Layham — fancy an impromptu paint night?

🍄 Saturday 10 October: Winter Wonderland at John Lewis, Ipswich.

🦊 Tuesday 13 October: Woodland Fox at Piccolo Lounge, Ely.

🐦‍⬛ Wednesday 14 October: The Raven’s Garden at The Botanist, Ipswich — moonlight, beautiful flowers and a little mystery.

🦉 Aurora Owl at Black Tiles is fully booked! But you can join us to paint it at The Alex on 27 October.

Come on your own, bring a friend, and let’s see what you can create. I’ll guide you through it, step by step 💛

Comment PAINT if you’d like the booking details.

A little woodland magic for your Tuesday evening 🦊✨

We’re painting Woodland Fox at Piccolo Lounge in Ely, Cambridgeshire, on Tuesday 13th October, 7–9pm.

It’s simply gorgeous there, and this little fox is a lovely way to welcome the new season—moonlit trees, rich blues and a flash of fiery orange 🍂

Come with a friend or come by yourself. I’ll guide you step by step, with all painting materials included. No experience needed—yes, even if you’re convinced you “can’t paint” 😉

Still a few tickets left if you fancy joining us!

Comment PAINT and I’ll send you the booking link.

I really can’t quite get over this new organised person I’ve apparently become… because look what’s here! 👀🎨

Our November AND December paint nights are up and ready to book on the website. I can’t wait for all the gorgeous designs we’ve got coming this season ✨

Come on your own, bring a friend, or gather your favourite people for a cosy evening of painting. And if you’re a small business or a little team wondering what to do for Christmas, why not make one of our paint nights your festive get-together?

Just choose a night and book your tickets—no hunting for a venue or organising a whole event. I can make sure your group sits together at most venues, and at some you may even be able to have your own table. If that’s important to you, drop me a message before booking and I’ll check what’s possible.

I’m so excited for this season. Have a look at the dates and come paint with us! 🎄🖌️

✨ A little taste of what’s coming in October… ✨

We’ve still got some lovely September paint nights ahead, but I couldn’t resist whetting your appetite for October.

After my trip to Copenhagen, I wasn’t quite sure how all that Scandinavian inspiration would find its way into my paintings — but here they are! A few of these new designs definitely carry a little Nordic magic.

We’ve got some absolute goodies coming — gorgeous new designs, autumn colour, moonlit skies and just the right amount of magic. I hope you’re as excited about them as I am!

Loved doing this window painting for Fen & Fable cafe in Chatteris. The brief was colourful flowers and a rainbow. Hand-painted on the inside of the glass for longevity. Who’s next? It could be you 👉 Pop me a message for a quote.

Why you should get your windows painted:
🫟Great to bring attention to your business and get people talking about it.
🫟Semi-permanent. Window murals last a long time but can be easily removed when you’re ready for a fresh look.
🫟 Completely bespoke design to suit you.
