Back home lounging about and dealing with jetlag. Back to work tomorrow and still just scrolling through photos and wondering when I'll get back. Here's a few more.

That's it. TeamLab gets it's own post. If meow wolf is a stoned teenager that likes to drop acid, watch cartoons and wander grocery aisle giggling with their friends. Then Team labs is it's rich classy aunt that enjoys taking ketamine while gardening in her atrium under a meteor shower and donates to the arts when she's wine drunk. 10/10

Coast back to Tokyo. Sea level monkey hangs through winding mountainous hills with spectacular views, a couple stops in charming yet sleepy towns and back to the racing ever beating heart that is Tokyo and the mind melting expanse of just how big and insanely busy this place really is. It's honestly hard to comprehend just how much is happening here at any given moment. Or as i once said to @meghanlassiter "do you know how many people were looking at right now and they don't even know we're looking at em?"

Coastal road trip stretch days 1-2. I don't know man, it's gorgeous, relaxed and worth it. Driving in Japan is weird. The views are unmatched, the food is fresh, the hotels are dope. I had a good naked conversation with s Swedish dude in an onsen. Ask me about it sometime. I'm going to bed. ✌️

Osaka days 1-2. The weather sticks to your skin and the city will stick in my mind for a long time. This place is a seemingly endless maze of narrow crowded alleys and bustling city streets. There's something exciting or at the very least, attention grabbing around every corner. I don't know that boredom is even a possibility here. I could spend a month here and not get tired of it. It feels as much a theme park as it does a city. That is to say it barely feels real.

Quick break from travel posting to shout out the MVP and celebrate 8 years of marriage. I shudder to think who or where I'd have been without her. I love you Nat.

Kyoto day 1-2
Real change of pace from the frantic energy and nonstop deluge of stimuli that is Tokyo. I love it. It's chill, gorgeous and welcoming. If someone told us we could just stay, I probably would.

How fitting having just turned 40 and feeling a bit disillusioned with the world lately on a personal micro and unavoidably macro scale. 3 things that bring me such joy lately all rolled into 1.

Just Tatem
Cursive
And my lovely wife for recognizing this is the good medicine I needed.
