Some conversations with my coach stay with me longer than the session itself.

At 38, this is personal.
I just want to see how far I can really go. How much more I still have in me.

It’s not just results for me. It’s the days where it feels hard, where I question everything, and still choosing to come back and do it again. That’s what this is about.

I’m lucky I’m not doing this alone. There’s a lot of support behind me but especially my coach, who’s in it with me day in, day out, even when I’m not at my best. I don’t take that for granted, ever.

For the love of the sport, anything is possible.

Just me, the process and the drive to keep going✨

How to do a double backhand drive? Yeah 😎
Step 1️⃣ Grip
Use continental / eastern grip
Left hand on top of right hand
Let your paddle drop naturally
Step 2️⃣ Power
Power comes from your left hand
Right hand stays relaxed
Drop your right shoulder toward the ball
Push with your left hand
Contact the ball in front of you
Common mistakes ⚠️
❌ Swinging too high / overswing
❌ Pulling paddle too far back
❌ Not staying low enough
Thank you coach! 🎾✨

Long weekend well spent 🍨

Thank you to everyone who came out for our pickle sessions. The laughter, rallies, meeting new friends and good company made it truly special. Spirits are high and hearts are full — just the boost we need to take on the new week ahead 🙌🏻

Shout out to Wee Liang who travelled over 200km and joined us! You made our session extra memorable.
