We are growing, in such turbulent and uncertain times, the consistent message we hear is that people are looking for stability and leadership. Two values that are foundational to our organisation, it’s not all about the skills of a person, at times it’s about character. We are looking for people who are passionate, will work hard towards creating sustainability & are flexible. Great to see local pupils grow up and give back to their schools 👌 Last year, Jamahl Rowl, a former student at @tmcspurley, partnered with his friend (and music artist) @jordsonline to set up @pickniuniforms. The school uniform initiative is designed to help families from lower economic backgrounds by supplying their children with school uniforms for free. @jordsonline’s music connections helped secure a partnership with @umusicuk’s Task Force for Meaningful Change which in turn has enabled funding of free school blazers for hundreds of secondary school children. Last year @jordsonline and partner @rowldogg launched the @pickniuniforms initiative which is providing free school uniforms for children across London. Just before Christmas we got the opportunity to meet some of the young recipients and snap them in their Monday best whilst also speaking to Jords about his early aspirations and feelings surrounding the project. "For myself, seeing the children’s faces at Paxton when they walked in and put on their blazers for the first time was a bit of a surreal moment." 🔗 Read more via the link in our bio CREDITS: Creative Director/Producer: @ayosartofgiving Executive Producer: @stevenodufuye Photographer and editor: @shenellkennedy BTS Video: @nakaashhu @maxcheshire_

Brilliant to see Croydon rapper @jordsonline charity @pickniuniforms getting more news coverage 🙌🙌🙌 Inspired by @marcusrashford’s free school meals campaign, Jordan set up @pickniuniforms to provide free school uniforms to kids who are on free school meals. Meet the man himself at tomorrow’s Christmas Light turn on event at @boxparkcroydon where he’ll be performing alongside other local talent. #EastCroydonCool #EastCroydon #Croydon #Cronx #TheCronx #London #SouthLondon #community #ThorntonHeath #Jords #Rapper #Music #MusicArtist #Musician #CroydonTalent #MarcusRashford #FreeSchoolMeals #FreeSchoolUniforms #PickniUniforms Footage courtesy of @gmb and @bbcnews
