My time at Clayton State University had its ups and downs, but I stayed determined and made it to the finish line. Throughout this journey, I grew academically and personally, and on May 9th, I will proudly graduate with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

I want to thank my family and friends for all of their love, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. A special thank you to my fiancé for standing by my side through every high and low and always motivating me to keep going. I truly could not have done this without you all.

I also want to thank my 3rd grade class and my mentor teacher Ms. McFarland at Utopian Academy for the Arts for teaching me so much throughout this experience. Because of their guidance and support, I feel prepared and excited to begin teaching 2nd grade at Dubois Integrity Academy.
