Na mijn blessure in het voorjaar ben ik zeker niet ontevreden over hoe het seizoen is gegaan.
Veel geleerd, mooie wedstrijden gevaren en vooral veel tijd op het water doorgebracht.🚀🌸

Een paar jaar na mijn eerste juniorenwedstrijd in Ivrea was ik nu terug voor mijn eerste seniorenwedstrijd!🇮🇹🍦

Blij met mijn 15e plek in de cross tijdens
de ICF Ranking in Praag! Altijd één van mijn meest favoriete wedstrijden van het jaar.🇨🇿🥋

Sometimes you give everything, prepare as well as you can, and it still doesn’t come together. That’s sport, especially in canoe slalom.
It was not the European Championship I was looking for.
P18 canoe, P22 in kayak, p14 in cross

After the summer break, I’ve been struggling mentally to find the same mindset, confidence and flow again.

However I’m proud of my journey this year, to finish 4th at the World Cup and to have raced quite a few finals this year. I’m still searching for that final click. I know there is more to give.

I’m mentally and physically exhausted after a very long season. For now, I’m going to enjoy the very last race of the year in China 🇨🇳

One more race to enjoy and to give everything I have before having some needed rest for the body and mind

season 2026 🫶🏽

I don’t know how that happened, but somehow it’s already time for a recap 🤯

First of all, I’m really grateful for all the opportunities, travels, races, trainings, interviews (thank you @_foxik_17 )…

A new coach after 10 years — that was a really big and difficult change for me. But thank you @peter_cibo for all the support, time and patience. It was hard, but I am really grateful and happy with where I am now.

What I have to say is 👉🏽 I expected more from myself this year. But still — staying consistently in the top 20, finishing 13th at the European Championships, and winning that gold in Oklahoma… I‘ll take it as it is :)

Hard work ahead of me now, I know I’m going to sweat blood this winter💪🏽, can’t wait 🫡

But for now, it’s time to step out of the boat for a little while and enjoy some quality ME time 😇😁

See you next season 👋🏽💥

I’m speechless. Thank you, Ivrea. It was an incredible event. My heart is full of gratitude and emotion, and this feeling is hard to describe.🙏❤️

It was already a dream to be there with the best canoeists, and to do it at home with all the crowd cheering you on is something incredible. I’m speechless. 🇮🇹❤️

So happy to be on the podium 🥈with my teammates @steffi.horn to do it with you is so special, couldn’t ask for better, @agataspagnol so happy for having so much fun together.

Thank you to the “curva,” you’re fantastic.
Thank you to my family, my boyfriend, who has always been there for me and always reminded me to do it because it’s fun, and it made the expectations less demanding.

Without you, I wouldn’t have made it, not so much at the European Championships, but right after the races I didn’t do well, after these difficult selections. We bounced back.

Vrhunec letošnje slalomaške sezone smo ta vikend dočakali v italjanski Ivrei, kjer je potekalo evropsko prvenstvo v slalomu na divjih vodah🇪🇺🏆

Ponovno smo spremljali nastope Benjamina Savška🚀
Po uspešno opravljenih četrtkovih kvalifikacijah so sledile ekipne vožnje, ki se za kanuiste niso iztekle po pričakovanjih. Dosegli so 11. mesto🤷‍♂️

V petek je Beni nastopil v polfinalni preiskušnji kjer je dosegel končno 20. mesto💪
