NEW WORK: The Never Ending Drive for Ronald McDonald House Charities (Director’s Cut). Had a great time shooting this project for director @adrianvieni. We were tasked with shooting 5+ environments with 15 in-camera cuts, while maintaining a single 110 degree consistent parallaxing camera movement around a moving vehicle. To make the effect feel more seamless, we programmed a series of lighting cues to correspond with each driving plate, which we then timed to perfectly align with each cut. Thanks to the help of the fine folks over at @2dhouse, we used a combination of motion control robotics and volumetric shooting to help achieve the vision. Shot on the Alexa 35 on a bolt mini moco robot.

Proud of this one, and grateful for a great team to pull this all off together. Thank you Adrian and Impossible studios for having me on board! A lil peep behind the curtain on the latest Meridian one. Everyone really pulled together to make a tricky producion very smooth. From the heads of department all the way to the supporting talent, who I still feel bad for having to wear suits in like 35 degree heat outside. It's what I love most about the process, how we all band together to make something and this one was so fun to make. Ps. Don't watch my mental hair in the first setup, that's the stress off all the balloons flying away in front of our eyes 😂 Creds in my other post.
