⭐️ 2025 ⭐️

Looking back on a year’s worth of work is always a strange exercise. I feel like I (and many other creatives) are wired to chase the new, the next idea, the next project and to point out flaws way more than wins. But I keep reminding myself how grateful I am to get to do this at all. And even more grateful for the relationships that keep this whole thing going.

I’m grateful for relationships formed in college 15 years ago that are now clients and collaborators. I’m grateful to still be working with many of the same clients who took a chance on me when I started freelancing 8+ years ago. I’m grateful that in an age of mass-produced AI, there are still leaders who value human partnership and building something meaningful together. And I’m deeply grateful for a team that’s grown this year and feels far more like friends than coworkers.

This year we teamed up with pop-culture-loving puppets to build cybersecurity awareness. 👹 Branded and launched the Visit Canyon tourism campaign for my hometown. 🏜️ We branded a private jet company. ✈️ we continued a multi-year website redesign for one of the largest nonprofits in the world. 🌍 And we created more vintage Western cowboy art than my West Texas heart ever dreamed possible (thanks for making cowboys cool again, Taylor Sharidan )🤠

Every year I say this, and every year it’s still true: it’s a gift to get to do this work. To my clients, collaborators, friends, and cheerleaders—thank you. I’m grateful to work alongside entrepreneurs, visionaries, and world-changers who make the work matter.

Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for challenging me.
Thank you for inspiring me.

Here’s to 2026 and beyond—may God bless you, your family, and your business. Cheers.

Captain Pike’s hair returns in Star Trek Strange New World Worlds Season 03 and though we didn’t get to showcase that wonderful hairdo in the main title, we did get to showcase some strange new worlds in the latest opening. #strangenewworlds #startrekstrangenewworlds #startrek #openingtitles

It’s finally happening, we’re actually going to talk about opening credits on @openingcredits 😱

So, if you’re one of the few people who have been sorely disappointed that this podcast isn’t actually about title sequences, today’s your lucky day!

We’re joined in this episode by @william_lebeda, Creative Director of @picturemillla, the studio behind some of the most memorable movie and tv show intros, including ‘Panic Room,’ ‘Sonic the Hedgehog,’ and ‘Transformers One.’

William, alongside Executive Producer David Midgen, talks us through the process of making the iconic opening credits for @succession, and how it was more hands-on than you might think. He also gives his honest opinion on the controversial ‘Skip Intro’ button (which is changing the game for title design) and tells us about his dream day on set working with everyone’s favourite fuzzy friends, The Muppets.

📺 Tv Series Opening Titles | #031 Locke & Key ✍🏻

✨ #Letteringstylechallenge2024 | Day 31: Ampersand

As a tribute to Locke & Key’s masterful opening credits, I crafted my ampersand for the final Lettering Style Challenge prompt, inspired by the title’s delicate pencil strokes.

I wanted to honor the original sequence, staying as true as possible to its artistic essence without altering it drastically.
With a touch of Bode’s whimsical style, I turned the ampersand into a keyhole, a gateway into the world of mystery, perfectly fitting for Halloween! 🔑🎃

🍿📺✍🏻
I’m reimagining iconic TV series opening titles, adding a bit of vintage nostalgia as if we all were watching them together back in the old days. 🎬
