Holy sheeeit it has been a minute since I’ve made a little post on here, but today marks 30 years of livin. I’ll keep it fairly brief, but just wanted to extend a very genuine thank you to all the people I’ve crossed paths with over the last 10 years. My 20s felt very surreal and I feel like a very lucky guy to have friends like these in this life. To those I haven’t spoken to in a while, life is going pretty good and I miss a whole lot of you. I felt pretty overwhelmed and stepped away from kayaking a little over 3 years ago which felt crazy at the time but it was a much needed change. I moved to the west coast of Vancouver Island where I’m now enjoying sucking at surfing, going to school for carpentry, and just hangin out with the amazing little tofino family I have. Overall I’d say I’m pretty happy with where I’m at and excited about where I’m headed. Time to enter my Unc Era haha. Cheers to everyone for the birthday wishes. Catch ya around

The Afterparty was full of awesomeness this year! @quadra_cove brought us one of the best shows we've had at the @clearwaterkayakfest They made it funky, wild and weird! Sylvain pulled out the decks afterwards and kept the party going! Can't wait to do it all next year.

One month packed full of memories.

Straight from NFC, where I performed better than I could have imagined and raced alongside some of the most amazing people I know. Then heading up to BC, placing 2nd at the Callaghan race with @zack_mutton and winning the Calcutta for my parents. As well as running some amazing whitewater with the best crew in the game.

Finally finishing it off with one of the most burl waterfalls I have ever run.

Lots of laughs, stout rapids, and good times.

So on the way to pick @pierce_huser up to do a prime 2.6 Upper Cheakamus lap, he somehow managed to convince me that a very healthy 0.6 Callaghan was a good idea! Turns out it was scary but awesome. Shout also to @alecvoorheeskayak for the rally, and to my @dragorossikayaks #DRS for holding its own out there.
