#SBCSummit Day 3 Recap 🔥

This time, we asked our @igamingrealtalk WhatsApp community what they wanted us to ask people on the expo floor.

So we took some of their burning questions, including a few seriously funny ones, and put them to the people shaping the industry.

What’s working?
What’s getting too much?
And what do people in the industry actually think about it?

We can’t wait to bring these conversations to you very soon.

Featuring: @levon_nikoghosyan, Lorena Vieira, Aiste Garneviciene, Liga Tarasova, @kandelaki_ana_ani, @pierreobv, Maksim Afanasev, lan Bedford, @bearshotz

🥊 The events industry rivalry has officially moved from the conference floor to the boxing ring…

We’re delighted to announce that @nextdotio - is in 🎰 @reidkev corner as his official fighter sponsor for Midnight Mayhem.

And the opponent?
Alex Pratt - MD of WorldGaming.

So, on 19 January, two rival events businesses will finally settle the important question: who really delivers the biggest industry knockout?
All completely friendly, of course… until the bell rings. 👀

Behind the banter is a deeply personal reason for Kevin stepping into the ring.

Kevin is fighting for his niece, Louisa, who has an exceptionally rare genetic condition, and raising money for the Lexden Springs School Appeal. The charity supports Lexden Springs School, where Louisa is a pupil, helping provide specialist education, care, equipment and experiences for children and young people with complex disabilities.

Kevin cannot change Louisa’s condition but he can train, fight and use his platform to create a meaningful difference for her school and other families like theirs.

A huge thank you to NEXT.io for standing alongside Kevin and supporting the purpose behind his journey.

Conference rivals.
Friendly competitors.
One ring.

A cause much bigger than either business.

Art, entertainment and fundraising came together at BGaming’s Charity Gala ✨

The event brought together partners, artists and members of the wider iGaming community in support of DAR Bjorn, a Maltese residential home for people living with severe neurological conditions.

Guests contributed through donations, auctions, raffles and merchandise purchases, while industry companies joined forces to support the initiative.

BGaming described the evening as a celebration of generosity, meaningful connections and community spirit.

✨ What an incredible week it has been! ✨

Last week at @nextdotio Summit Valletta was filled with inspiring conversations, meaningful connections, exciting opportunities, and so many great moments with incredible people.

A special thank you to @pierreobv ⚡️ for inviting us to so many amazing events throughout the week, including the @bgaming.official Charity Gala. It was a beautiful reminder that, beyond competition, we can come together for something meaningful and support great causes as an industry. 🙌

Grateful for all the conversations, connections, and memories made.

We won Creative Excellence 2026 at the SiGMA Europe Awards.

This is a recognition that we care about building products that work well technically and rethink the experience for operators in a smarter, more sustainable way.
A big part of that this year has been our Jackpot Tool.
Historically, jackpots drove short-term player excitement but did little for operator margins or long-term growth. We changed that. We built the Alea Jackpot to be a seamless, revenue-generating campaign engine that gives operators total control and predictability.
But the night was about more than awards.
At the SiGMA Foundation charity auction, we brought home “The Watcher” by Lucienne Spiteri @luc.spiteri which is the fourth painting of hers in our collection. The SiGMA Foundation has become something very close to our hearts over the years.

Funding a classroom in Ethiopia dedicated to empowering local women, supporting the Kilimanjaro Expedition, and fully rebuilding the Kaliro Kindergarten School in Uganda earlier this year, are projects we’re genuinely proud to stand behind.
So yes, there was a trophy on stage. But there was also a reminder that this industry can create real impact when the right people come together around something bigger than themselves.
Thank you to everyone building this journey with us. Moments like this make the pace worth it. #sigmafoundation #igamingconference

There are things which matter equally to us; wellbeing and bringing the right people together.

Events aren’t only about meetings. Most importantly, it’s to connect with people with the same energy and mindset. What better way to start with two events that get you in the right flow?

We kicked off NEXT Valletta on Tuesday morning with a Yoga, Breathwork & Ice Bath session guided by @neil.agius. A chance to slow things down for a moment before the pace of the week took over.

And by the evening, that same energy carried into our dinner at Contessa, where partners, clients, and friends came together before @nextdotio officially began.

Last day to catch up at the Alea lounge. See you there. #iGamingConference #Alea #NEXTValletta
