The first of many Petals Credenzas to come. This one features quarter sawn white oak paired with a beautiful custom white lacquer and satin silver nickel petals and feet. The interior drawers are lined with a baby blue heathered felt for softness and a quiet quality when fumbling for things inside.

Happy Holidays everyone! We just got this iteration of the Halsey Prime Credenza out to a client in CT this morning just before the holidays. We rarely stain our woods but this darkened walnut looks so striking I may add it to our repertoire. Paired with brass and caviar shagreen. Thank you @amyhirsch_design for taking me out of my comfort zone! I often try to make the photography meaningful to me so here we have a prototype candlestick I got from my talented friend and colleague @patkimpatkim and a screen print from my old godfather #stephensprouse's second collection with @louisvuitton. #peaceandlove

This is the mirror I saw at the @metmuseum back in 2004 that inspired the Diamond Mirror I still produce to order today. It’s an American ‘Girandole’ from 1815 which in French means an ornamental branched candlestick or light fixture. Funny that being a mirror is only its secondary purpose. I walked home that day amazed by the opulence of it and thought we probably couldn’t make a frame like it anymore but there could be a way to modernize it and create a similar presence the mirror captured so well. By the time I got home I pretty much had the design for the Diamond Mirror in my head and drew it out on the computer. The second image is the wildly different design I came up with but was purely inspired by this 19th century mirror alone. It was the fastest design that really ever came out of me but creating the first one took a couple years. I had to figure out how to hang a piece of glass that had no frame and over time learned that beveling intricately like this is no easy feat. Difficulties aside I’m still so happy that these mirrors exist out there in the world for a very few special clients and we can still make them! Fun fact: that’s me in the reflection of the Girandole taking a photo to remember it for inspiration.

Just delivered a pair of these little Cobb side tables. A fun little table to make with a lot of small details that make it like a little jewel in wood.
