Every day is Fry-Day at the Fry Basket at Epcot's Food & Wine Festival! It's Brandon's favorite festival booth...have you ever seen someone look at fries with so much love? 🤣 #PotatoesForLife

🍟 Here's what you can get gluten free & with food allergies, including some modifications we got on our visit.

🥔 Fry Flight: We were able to get the Truffle-Parmesan Fries with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Sweet Potato Casserole Fries gluten free. The Sea Salt-Malt Vinegar Fries contain gluten, so you can either get plain fries as a 3rd option or get two of your favorite version (which we did).

✅ The Sweet Potato Casserole fries are GFDF and vegan as is! You can get the Truffle Fries GFDF with modifications.

🥔 Adobo Yuca Fries: These might be our favorite from the booth. Be sure to ask for extra Plant-based Garlic-Cilantro Aïoli!

💡 When navigating the festival, we always recommend asking a CM to call a chef when you visit a booth to ask questions and to confirm current ingredients & so your food can be prepared with allergy protocols. Things can change during a festival, so we always recommend double-checking every time.

We ate SO well at the Royal Palm Club at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

✨ Our experience in club level was nothing short of magical. The chefs brought us items from the kitchen to avoid cross contamination in the lounge & they even got us items from other locations to make sure we had safe & tasty options!

💡 The lounge for the club level serves food for breakfast, snacks, dinner & evening desserts. We were able to find tasty and safe options during each of these.

☕️ Breakfast was by far our fave meal. They made us allergy-friendly Mickey waffles & we also got allergy-friendly double chocolate muffins (SO good!), along with all the breakfast staples and Brandon's favorite cheesy hashbrowns #potatoesforlife

Embarkation day is always a fun but chaotic day! Our day 1 on the Disney Destiny was filled with all of that…in a good way!

🎃 This Halloween on the High Seas sailing featured Solara, the new pumpkin tree.

🍟 We lunched at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods with Donald’s Cantina being a must!

🐆 We explored the Grand Hall…the T’Challa Black Panther icon statue is even better in person.

👻 We had drinks with happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion Parlor.

🪄 We cast spells and entered the multiverse with drinks at The Sanctum.

🦁 We had tasty GF & allergy-friendly dinner at Pride Lands.

🦸 We laughed so hard at the With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show.

Villa’s Tacos is a must visit every time we’re in DTLA. Everything on the menu is GF except the cheesecake and their tacos are amazing!

If you've ever skipped a Disney buffet because you're gluten free or have food allergies, we're sharing some info on how we navigate them safely with this review of Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

🌟 Upon request, Disney will give you an allergen guide for the buffet. If you're comfortable using it as a reference and eating off the buffet, you can do so. The guide notes the top 9 common allergens.

🤩 Pro Tip: If you aren't comfortable eating directly from the buffet, you can ask to speak with a chef about preparing you items in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination.

✅ This is our preferred way to dine at a buffet at Disney, and we always find that the chefs do a great job at accommodating with safe options.

Toledo at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is Michelin recommended & a fantastic table service option if you're gluten free or looking for allergy-friendly options.

🌟 Here are some GF highlights from our recent visit.

🥕 Mezcla de Verduras: Gigante Bean Silk, Seasonal Garden Vegetables, Patatas Bravas, and Carrot Romesco...the restaurant's plant-based dish. It usually features various seasonal vegetables. This was less beet forward than the previous version and had cauliflower steak this time.

🍤 You can add a protein to this dish, and I ordered grilled shrimp (GFDF) to it.

🌿 Gran Gin Tonic...lovely and refreshing. The saffron and rosemary add some herbaceousness to it.

🧊 Alla Prima Manhattan...Brandon's go to cocktail.

🧀 The Spaniard for Two: A charcuterie platter that can be made gluten free & nut free.

💡 If you're dairy free, we'd recommend another starter (love the GFDF modified pan con tomate).

🍽️ Marinated Grilled Lamb Loin: Potatoes, Salsa Verde, Greens, Seasonal Vegetables...Brandon's fave entree at Toledo.

💡 It's GFDF on the allergy-friendly menu, but the potatoes are made in a shared fryer as Brussels sprouts, so Brandon had dairy filled mashed potatoes instead.

🥔 Patatas Bravas: We got our sauces on the side since the last few visits our potatoes have been very saucy (and not in a good way). We both did not like the red sauce served with it, but the herby green sauce is fantastic. Still, we gotta admit, this current iteration of this dish is a bit of a let down from previous versions.

There's an app for that...and every special dietary need...at Jiko: The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort.

🦒 We love this signature dining location and we always find the appetizers on the menu to be some of the best on Disney property.

🌟 Here are a few highlights from our recent dinner at Jiko.

1️⃣ Jiko Salad: Lolla Rosa, Seasonal Apples & Baobab Vinaigrette...bright flavors, and the different textures of apple in this are lovely. A great GFDF appetizer option.

✅ Marked GF & safe for Egg, Fish/Shellfish, Milk, Sesame, Tree Nut & Soy Allergies

2️⃣ Allergy-Friendly Rolls with Baobab Butter...if you can have dairy, the butter has an incredible flavor to it. Sadly, they do not have a DF butter option currently.

3️⃣ Braai'd Wild Boar Tenderloin: Creamy Pap, Tomato Chakalaka & Herb-smoked Oil. This might be our favorite appetizer on Disney property. So good!

✅ Marked GF & safe for Egg, Fish/Shellfish, Peanut/Tree Nut, Sesame & Soy Allergies

4️⃣ Diver Scallop with Pork Belly: Seared Scallop, Sumac-roasted Pork Belly, Corn Cream, Mustard Caviar, Fennel Crisp. The most incredible flavors. This rates high on Sarah's top apps at Disney World.

✅ Marked GF & safe for Egg, Fish, Peanut/Tree Nut, Sesame & Soy Allergies

5️⃣ Passion Fruit & Guava Sorbets...Just missing the O in POG but these sorbets are GFDF and very refreshing

6️⃣ South African Wine Flight...some of the best wines at Disney are at Jiko & this wine flight was so good.

🎂 Did you know you can order specialty cakes, including wedding cake from @thecakebakeshop at Disney's Boardwalk...including gluten free & allergy-friendly options?!

💍 We recently got married & ordered a gluten free & nut free custom wedding cake. It was the perfect way to celebrate 11 years together & our special day.

💡Cakes need to be ordered about 2 weeks in advance & there are many different flavors that can be made GF & nut free. If you're dairy free, we would recommend ordering a cake from Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC in Disney Springs.

💝 We chose a vanilla buttercream with gold leaf design (you even get to choose frosting designs!), chocolate cake, mint chocolate chip frosting & chocolate ganache.

✅ Although we didn't have time, you can also do a cake tasting experience to help you choose your cake that is $250 & includes 3 cake samples & bubbles.

🍰 Cake can also be served on site or picked up. We had ours onsite for our wedding day lunch & the team at Cake Bake had it all set up for us & even cut the cake into professional slices after we did a traditional bride & groom cutting the cake photo op!

🌟 Here are some highlights from the wedding lunch:

🥂 We ordered a bottle of bubbles (rose champagne) to enjoy along with a bridal set of champagne flutes & cake serving (that we purchased).

🥔 We enjoyed some truffle fries made in a dedicated fryer b/c as potatoholders we had to celebrate with potatoes.

🥗 I ordered my favorite GF cobb salad...yum!

🍟 Brandon ordered his favorite steak frites (can be made GFDF with modifications)

💐 Our server Justin made our little wedding celebration so magical & we highly recommend him as a server at Cake Bake.

💖 When it comes to theming and extra pixie filled touches, Cake Bake is a wonderful spot for a special occasion! We are so thankful for them making our day extra special (shoutout to Molly from their concierge team!).
