Dude it’s just been fucking fiasco after fiasco for me here in bullshit city. So it’s the same night as yesterday’s post and I just almost fucked up majorly twice right now but I’m clutch. I was given a quest to deliver two bottles of Oral omnipaque to a patient for their scan which is easy peasy. I vaguely remembered their name and age and I was like okay yeah I’m looking for a white lady, mid-30s and she’s in room 067 easy and I didn’t check her name band . So I go and I let the nurse know and she agrees and I give it to the patient and everything’s good for now. Eventually on my way back I get flagged down by a patient who we scanned earlier and she’s like hey I lost my earrings in the scan room can you find it they’re expensive. This immediately occupies all my efforts because I don’t want to get in trouble if we lost her stuff so I’m going back and forth between the rooms and I’m just searching and eventually she’s like maybe someone tossed it.

So I went to my supervisor who scanned her and as I was about to ask about her I see that the room of the patient I had to give the omnipaque to was 068 but I KNOW I gave it to 067. I fucking immediately ran over to the ED and then I ran to the lady and she’s like hey I finished these bottles and I said CAN I SEE YOUR WRIST BAND and it WAS the correct lady but for some reason they had literally just moved her one spot to the right. I thought I fully gave the wrong patient two bottles of medication I was gonna cry bro. After this extremely narrow miss that I just had with this snafu I was so hyped so I refocused my efforts to find this lady’s diamond earrings and I ask my supervisor again and he was like wait a minute I think I put those in the trash. So this time I fully fucking dove into the trash bin and it was literally right there I was so stoked. I don’t really think I can handle anything more evil happening this shift so retroactively send me good karma okay bye.

Also we had a peds trauma who was a four year old boy and his mother also came in as a trauma patient. They were both in a car accident and the little boy lived but his mom just died so I feel bad for that little guy.

I have four hours left of my shift I’m so excited to be freed. Last night I had to get home late because we had a Neuro ICU patient who started crashing after we got her off the table. She like suddenly was like I have to piss myself and then she just went unresponsive and her O2 went down and so I was like oops it’s time to warm up my CPR technique. I actually did hope we got to do CPR a little because I haven’t gotten to in like a year but instead of calling an MSET they just decided to go upstairs for whatever reason. I ended up volunteering to bring them up because no one can pull a bed faster than I can and so I had a fun little field trip.

I got to do a patient with Farrah just now which happens very rarely recently so it was fun but she just exploited me to get her treats. There is something strange at the hospital today but I have no idea what it is. I just have a really weird feeling and the vibe is like different. It’s like the same feeling as like a mid September desolation in the hospital so I don’t know what that’s about. I think there will be some kind of MCI or something today but that’s because I would really enjoy it if there were I need to be redeemed for that bus crash last month I would clutch that thing out. Maybe I’ll have some luck this month but it’s not likely okay bye.

I’m quite a hungry guy I’m gonna try and sneak some bites of my pasta in really quick now that we have less patients. I’m excited to try it this time because I’m really proud of how my ground beef turned out this time it looked epic so hopefully this translates into being an epic sauce so to speak. I am trying to spend minimal dollars on treats for myself but everyone at work decided today was the day to get Jinya ramen which is a ramen place I wanted to take Kai to again because I’ve had a big ramen craving recently. They’ve all conspired against me to tempt me into sin and I’m not gonna fall for it this time. I can’t even lie that shit smells so good so I’m hiding in the supply room rn.

Work today so far hasn’t been evil but it has been peculiarly in business. There was a guy who had some kind of insane infection on his legs and entire chunks of flesh were just falling directly onto the ground and the new physician was just picking away at his leg and treating it openly in the middle of the hallway stinking up the entire wing of the emergency department it was rank. I had a second guy today with a similar skin infection but he also had a crazy huge tumor in his balls and it made that shit gigantic. I saw it peeking out from under his shirt and I was like wow this guys stomach looks weird as fuck and then I saw him lift his hurt up a little and it was a fucking baseball sized testicle it was weird. Anyways I’m gonna try and sneak in some of my pasta or my Baja blast or else I’ll be doomed tonight okay bye.

It was goated today because we went to the Renn Faire with Erika this morning. It was our first time at a faire so Kai and I spent some time cooking up fits and I think we did pretty good I was cooking fr. We had to wake up early to pick up Erika on the way and when we got there that shit was packed bro. I expected to not like it but actually I did have fun. The only problem was that it was so goddamn hot and some of the people stank bad because of it. Luckily we met and befriended a lot of very cool pretty people there, but Kai was too afraid of them to get any of their numbers or instagrams so maybe we’ll see them again idk.

The food was not yummy and everything was expensive but it was worth going and we will likely go to another one. After the faire we headed back to my house where we immediately all disrobed and then took a nap for like two hours. ONE of us slept considerably better than the other two but I’m not gonna name names right now. After we had our nap Erika had to go back home so we went to food lion to get snacks for her mom who is sick and we also got Thai food as a snack while driving. Very epic and very cool day we will see Erika soon she has no choice okay bye.

SPURS ARE GOING TO THE FINALS GOD IS REAL. Today we went up to Towson to see griffin and ky to get dinner and watch Obsession. We met up with them at the theaters and saw the movie at 4:30. We liked it but it mostly made me just cringe a lot of the time and I also got really nauseous during the sex scene after the restaurant it was very upsetting to me. Once we finished the movie we went to get dinner and two of the places I was looking at were actually right next to each other. We ended to going to this place cause 2am project and it was so fucking shit actually. It was an empty concrete room with like four shitty tables and a wall of all ai art. They played some shitty ass now that’s what I call music 2019 ass songs and also dinner was $78 dollars and also sucked ass.

The best part at the restaurant was the crème brûlée which was store bought. Despite the restaurant being evil and us never wanting to come back, we had a fun time just spilling straight lore tbh. We chitchatted for I think 2 hours there and I gave Ky and Griffin 3 of my watches. After that we went to this place I think it was called Ebisu which was just a regular store but only Japanese items and it was pretty cool and we got snacks. Eventually we went back to the parking garage we were at and Kai and Griffin traded some of their clothes they don’t wear and we chitchatted more until we left. Next time hopefully they’ll come down to us or we’re meet somewhere in the middle because the drive was ass okay bye.
