Takes a lot of upfront investment to get anything creative off the ground. Fashions no different, it might even be harder 😭

Episode 20 with Eric and Alexis premiering September 15th!
@pillarbrand @sew_rite_studio

I was so scatter brained on this one lmao, super fun though!!!

Alexis Venerus, founder of Sew-Rite @sew_rite_studio , is an advocate for sustainable, locally produced fashion. With a commitment to fostering craftship through generations, she champions the power of local manufacturing to create meaningful connections between designers, artisans, and communities. Her leadership at Sew-Rite blends technical expertise with a philosophy of mentorship and shared growth, nurturing emerging brands and supporting established ones. With over a decade of experience in small-scale production, Alexis has cultivated a team of skilled artisans dedicated to craftship, collective spirit, and innovation.

Eric Han is the designer and founder of ready-to-wear fashion label PILLAR @pillarbrand . The core of Eric’s work at PILLAR comes from the brands most central motif, ‘speculating on an East Asian present’. Inspired by lesser told stories of Asian and American life in the present day and contemporary history. The designs manifests as functional garments that invite the wearer into the PILLAR speculative world of play.
