Edward fell for Kristen freshman year. She put him in the friend zone. And four years later, one Snapchat message changed everything. 😂❤️

When Edward first saw Kristen at a college party in 2014, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen.

He asked her to dance. She said yes.

He was smitten. She thought he was cute and liked his haircut. 😂

And somehow, after the universe brought them face-to-face again the very next day, Edward found himself firmly in the friend zone.

They became friends, eventually lost touch, and for the next few years, Edward would occasionally send Kristen a Snapchat message.

She ignored them. Sometimes with annoyance. 😂

But one day during their senior year, after receiving yet another message from Edward, Kristen finally asked him why he kept bothering her.

And that's when Edward told her the truth.

He'd been in love with her for four years.

And just like that, what had started as an annoying Snapchat notification became the beginning of something beautiful.

Years later, I had the honor of standing with Kristen and Edward on their wedding day, telling this very story to the people they love most.

And this is one of my favorite things about being a wedding officiant.

Getting to know the stories that brought two people to the altar, finding the humor, and the moments that changed everything, and bringing those stories to life during their wedding ceremony.

Sometimes, the best part of a love story is everything that happened before the couple even realized they were writing one.

Heyyyyyy, Kristen and Edward! ❤️

Youuuuu. 🫵😂

Because your ceremony shouldn’t be the part of your wedding everyone sits through waiting for the bar to open.

It should make you laugh.
It should make you feel something.
It should sound like the two of you.
And when it’s over, it should feel like you just experienced something, not checked something off the wedding-day timeline.

So yeah…

Who needs an amazing officiant?

🫵 YOUUUUU.

Here’s to knowing when to step in and give direction when it makes sense.

I’ve been doing this long enough to both see and FEEL when the vibe isn’t quite hitting the mark for the photo we want to create. Giving direction comes easy and facilitating a moment with some movement makes everything look better. I can catch you where I need you and you don’t have to be stuck and stiff in one spot.

It’s a win-win when you get a flawless wedding day experience AND photos you love.

Younger me was exploding with joy and happiness in this moment 🤍✨🦢

A flowy princess dress.
Fresh mountain breeze.
Golden hour glow.
Bestie and the love of my life.
Running full speed into the future.

And yeah, the only acceptable cardio from here on out 🫡

From an idea… to the pages of a magazine. 🤍🌴

A Season of Palms was an extra special styled shoot because I had the opportunity to plan it alongside my friend and fellow planner, Marykate Cavanaugh, owner of Events by Marykate.

There’s something pretty special about getting to create alongside someone you not only call a friend, but also genuinely respect as a talented planner. We were able to bounce ideas off each other, dream big, and then bring together an incredible group of vendors who took our vision and added their own creativity to it.

A huge thank you to Marykate and every single vendor who said yes, trusted our vision, and contributed their time, talent and creativity. These shoots truly are a team effort, and the final result is only possible because of everyone who brings their own little bit of magic to the table.

Community over competition, always.

Six months married to my best friend. 🤍

The best day of our lives, and somehow I fall more in love with you every single day. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the Lord and the way His faithfulness and guidance have been so beautifully woven into our marriage.

Getting to walk through this life, grow in our faith, and experience all that God has for us together is everything I prayed for and more.

Six months down, forever to go. I love you endlessly. 🤍

Forever & always, always & forever. 💍

Happily ever after never looked better than Beautiful Bride Alexandra and her groom!

To make Alexandra's exquisite gown from @rhylanlangbridal perfect, we adjusted her cowl neckline and added snaps to the back of her bodice. Then, we took in the side seams of her bodice and skirt. Finally, we completed a hem and added two bustles to her gown.

Thank you, Alexandra, for choosing us to make your dream gown a reality! You were extremely sweet and fun to work with. Congratulations on celebrating your perfect wedding!
