A Yarmouth native, Malcolm returns to Maine after living in and selling real estate in Florida. I am so excited to have him working alongside us at Portside Real Estate Group and am enjoying mentoring him along the way.

Many of you know us on a lacrosse field first, but real estate has become a career we enjoy just as much as playing and coaching, with many of our strengths as athletes coming through in the way we run our real estate business and handle each of our transactions. We love to compete and strategize, think outside the box and work as a team. Malcolm has been a best friend of mine for the last 18 years, ever since we were both the head coaches at USM together. To my Florida Fam, this may be the first you are hearing: I am moving back to New England. Kyle is going into his senior year; Gavin will be a junior. Both boys are honor roll students, playing for their high school football and lacrosse teams, and all around respectful, cool young men to be hang out with.

Soon they will be off to college and no longer teenagers - the window to participate more fully in their childhood is closing. So I am going to do this thing while I still can.

I am not entirely sure what the future holds, but I will most certainly be back to FL, especially the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Over the last five years, I have had the privilege to form great friendships with so many awesome families in this area. I couldn’t possibly name them all but just know that if we crossed paths through lacrosse, training, real estate or otherwise, I am grateful for you all.

This place is a not so hidden gem anymore but that does not make it any less special. So instead of saying goodbye, Kona and I ship off this week with a See you Soon instead. I look forward to seeing how my students progress through high school and college - and many of you will keep training with RPM online - so let’s get it!
