Rhubarb cooling in a blue bowl - having a good hard look at de-plastifying my life. It creeps back like an invasive weed. (note the beautiful tea cosy made for me by my sister that has become a sculpture of its own, shaped by heat and daily use)

Dark and nasty Kings Cross today … the only Ibis on the streets. It’s the bad weather. The bins are overflowing!

The City Ibis has a newly learned “going straight up” function, for when the traffic gets hairy. Like a Harrier “Jump Jet”. The feet tell all. First time he’s seen it happen. True…in Kings Cross.

Pic not taken today…. But in the last week. Yes, that’s the old Empire Hotel corner.

It never hit the ground. Maybe now, but when and where it was left, it had never hit the ground. True. A work of art.

Everyone is cool when the human is about. Just doing Ibis stuff … and then … two pissed off females. Go figure.

Look at this lovely creation by @pingdini - “Shokupan bun loaf from The Book of Buns by @virtuousbread. Definitely the prettiest thing I’ve ever baked. Star of the lunchbox for my kid’s first day of high school tomorrow.”

The joys of city living. That was close, not close enough to fly, but close.

A photobombers ass? That’s nothing! There’s not much she hasn’t seen in this City. Predictable Lad 017 is her name. Go figure.

It just happened. They came from everywhere. He reckons 70. He sat when there was three cockatoos on the ground. Pines. Yeah they’re filthy toenails. They’ll bite anything. The cockatoo doesn’t get much of a say in this… it’s an Ibis page.
