I’ve been working long hours at the shop for a project with Lego. We have a daily meeting with the crew at 7am, lunch at 11am and head home around 5pm. Long days remind me of the hard work my family puts in to provide for me. Thankful to contribute in ways I can and be a part of the team.

Celebrating what can be accomplished when people come together.

Commissioned by our team for LinkedIn’s New York City offices, @marksengbusch’s milled tessellating wood patterns change course as they shift and evolve, sweeping across the elevator bay on Level 16 - a flowing array of fragmented parts, coming together to create a whole.

“Pattern is a vehicle for color. Abutting different patterns symbolize emerging cultural connections. There is a beautiful clash when mismatched matrices collide. I see it in Gee’s Bend quilts, the glitch of an analog video game. Kuba cloths from the Democratic Republic of Congo and even in the cacophony of two records mixed poorly.”

Marks piece is designed to resonate with, and represent, the vast, diverse community of collaborators that pass through Level 16 on a daily basis - a celebration of the innovation and progress that can be accomplished when they come together.

Gather & Grow: a LIVE iHeartPodcasts event in partnership with Scott’s Miracle-Gro and hosted by Sophia Bush🎙️🌱

We had some fun turning this venue greeeen for our pals at Miracle-Gro🪴

Guests got to sit in on a live recording of Sophia’s podcast “Work In Progress” with episode guest @plantkween, followed by a dreamy family-style dinner. They walked away with gifts including a harvest basket filled with practical garden goodies and a jar of honey harvested from Sophia’s personal garden🍯
