This weekend I went to Newcastle to check out the Once Upon a Tyne Book Festival and to meet my online book bestie @elliottauthor in person!

To say I was in my small business element is an understatement.

This has got to be one of the biggest small business hauls I have ever done, but when I show you what I got, you'll understand!

I also added in two of the sweetest wee surprises I got at the end of the video!

(If you missed it, check out my previous post to see all the gorgeous special edition hardbacks Hannah gifted me too 📚💜✨️)

My haul:
@Midgardcrafting - I picked up this very "Lel coded" book plushie for my book shelf! And a @perfectlyedged hardback copy of "A Fate Forged in Fire" by @hazelmcbrideauthor

@krorroskosdesigns made these super adorable "toe beans" stickers amoung so many other amazing items - their whole stall set up was 3D designed and printed by them and they had so much cute pink and purple witchy goodness!

@Pinky_creates - this stall nearly broke me - never have I seen so much polymer clay gorgeousness in one place! I got these adorable periwinkle book stud earrings and this little stack of books photo holder - they even had a Polaroid camera you could take a picture with to add to your purchase!

@geekandartsy - I screamed when I saw this little post delivery Otter keyring IYKYK!

And then as if all of that wasn't enough I got to meet the fabulous @reading.gemsbooks who had made these crocheted dragons eggs...complete with a wee dragon!!

And finally when I got home, Wee Yin had missed me so much they had made me a new bookmark to use in all my purchases!

So overall an amazing weekend and my heart is full!

Please go check out these amazing small businesses and creators and give them a like, comment, follow and share! 💜✨️

A promise made under the stars... ✨

I had a great time at @romantasyfest last week and got this incredible henna piece done by the amazing @jennahs.henna ! 🥰😁❤️

I asked for a visual representation of an oath made at the Court of the Fallen from Starfallen—a promise etched into skin that only reveals itself under the light of a full moon. 🌕🖤

The artist brought my idea to life so flawlessly! The details of the stars and moon as it wraps around my arm are everything, and seeing a piece of Starfallen’s world brought off the page like this made my bookish heart so happy. 🌙✨️

If you were to make a bargain or oath with a Fae Court, what would you ask for in return? Let me know below! 👇📖
