Last night's opening was fun! Thank you to @alexzstern and @phederiqo for organizing the show, @ryanwildenyc for supporting my work, and all of my friends who came out. Turnout was so high that the gallery decided to keep the show up through the weekend, with open hours 12-5 today and tomorrow. A checklist including all of the work and installation views can be found here:

I wrote the screenplay based on Donna Tartt’s The Secret History, Rope, Six Degrees of Separation and as revenge to my high school bullies. Faustus’ Children screens as part of The Secret History organized by Alissa Bennett @gladstone.gallery Come out Thursday, June 20th for the opening from 5-7.

Ellis is a great guy. Nine years old and best buddies with my son, Sullivan, who misses him dearly. Quarantine takes its toll on most of us, but it may be especially challenging for kids, who usually see lots of friends every day. The screen, which once had stricter limitations, is now the meeting ground for friends to connect. It’s not the same, but it works. Ellis has always played very well on his own, he reads a lot and is constantly on some artistic adventure, like his comic book publication: Awww Yeeahhh Comics. …but he still itches to see and hear his pals. Minecraft is a cyber universe where he and Sullivan create elaborate new worlds, where they do whatever their imaginations offer. Maybe that’s the key - creating new worlds. #newworlds
