I watched the film "The Sasquatch Gang" yesterday. I liked it! The Sasquatch Gang is a brisk, funny, and offbeat comedy with a humorous, irreverent wit, slightly quirky characters, and an endearing heart.

The awesome script by director Tim Skousen tells an amusing non-linear coming of age story about the complexities of friendship, first love, bullying, self-worth, and Bigfoot.

Jeremy Sumpter leads a really good ensemble cast that includes Joey Kern, Addie Land, Hubbel Palmer, Rob Pinkston, Michael Mitchell, Ray Santiago, Jeff D'Agostino, Jon Gries, Carl Weathers, Stephen Tobolowsky, and a scene-stealing Justin Long.

The cinematography is well done by Munn Powell, and it has a solid soundtrack and score by John Swihart. It's nicely edited by Jeremy Coon and Skousen. It also has some superb costume design, art direction, and production design. Tim Skousen did a pretty good job directing this cute, fun, and charming comedy that I would recommend.

This year kicked my ass, and I mean KICKED my ass. It was by far the hardest year of my life, & I don’t wish it on anyone or myself to ever have to endure again.

I cried more this year, than I have in the entirety of my existence, and more than once lost my faith in humanity, just for it to be restored once again by the amazing people in my life. Truly, if it weren’t for my phenomenal friends, I don’t think I would have been able to make it.

I struggle daily with feeling hardened & jaded, and know I will never be the girl I once was. But I’ve realized that’s okay, because the woman I have become, I now know can get through ANYTHING.

My whole life I’ve always wanted to achieve grandiose things, and thought, what if the reason so much hardship has been presented, is because it’s preparing us to handle all the beautiful things to come. Whether that’s true or not, it’s what I’m choosing to believe (for my own sanity LOL)

But I know I’m not the only one who has had a hard time this past year. Sooo many people I’ve spoken to have struggled & had life altering events occur. So I challenge you as you move into 2025 to always be kind, as you never know what someone is going through. We’re all made up of the same- flesh & blood, and just want to be supported, loved & seen for who we are as individuals. So cheers to the best year yet, and drawing in love, laughter, opportunity, prosperity, travel, ease and joy in 2025! Don’t give up folks, we got this ✨🫶🏼💋
