The beginning of April 2024 was, in retrospect, a blessing in disguise. The beginning of the year was fairly rocky due to feeling so miserable with the environment and the people around me in my life, especially since it was a full semester since I stopped going to school, and just after leaving my first education job because I needed more money to survive (y’know, not having a car in a city like this is literally and figuratively not going to get you very far). To top it all off, I lost the first and only vehicle I had for over a decade. I felt stuck in more ways than one. I genuinely believed that working a near 12 hour job I loathed and being at the mercy of a bunch of college kids was all my 20’s was going to be. I gave myself until October to turn my life around or else I’d just leave this place all together. It’s funny how life works out when you think you’re at rock bottom. There’s nowhere else to go but up! I started going to more live shows and talking to more musicians I actually loved listening to. At first, it was just to take my mind off of everything and socialize with artists that know nothing about me nor the world that I do my own art in. But then, I couldn’t help but to keep coming back show after show. Because it was just so much fun! Then I became a model somehow. I know the actual reason(s) why now (my height and inexperience certainly didn’t help), but at the time, I couldn’t believe it. I had no choice but to believe in myself from that point onwards. And my goodness, all of the kind and beautiful souls I met and still (semi-regularly) keep in contact to this very day! Then I organized and hosted TWO film screenings back to back, just 1 month apart! That spring and summer was filled with nothing but new contacts and hustling. I feel so damn lucky to this day that I was able to meet and grow with the talents that I did when I did: @mel_melesita @leslie.cavi @missalondra_08 @xoxo.johnnyboy @kevin.horton__ @sh34.cxn.pavl.23 @mrpidgemusic @mypilotis @inoha_band and everybody affiliated with them that I met along the way: Thank you all so very much. I love each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. 🫂🫶🫂♥️💙♥️💙♥️

Man, these are just some of my favorite memories mashed up. I hope you guys find these bits worth something. I still can't believe I've been doing this shit for about 4 years now. The San Antonio Scene has taught me a lot about myself and definitely has its ups and downs. These posts aren't supposed to look pretty or perfect; they're just here to show you my experience and shed some light on the friends and places I've been, so you can go judge them for yourself. The point is, don't take my word for it, but go make your own experiences. This is my last post for this account. It was definitely fun to share. . . . . . . . . #sanantonio #sanantonioscene #texas #punk #photography #emo #friends #livemusic #local #moshpit #metal #venue #sanantoniomusicscene #sanantoniomusic #archivedmusic #archive #rock #2000 #myspace #sceneemo #elderemo

05/04/2024 • Pink Zeppelin • INOHA - ALOHA INOHA Album Release 📸 by: @its_no_wonder_toasty “INOHA’s highly anticipated first album release, ‘ALOHA INOHA’ took place in where it all started at @pinkzeppelinbr Even though some songs like Naomi, Seventh Heaven, GESHUOU, and especially Saturday Nights were played plenty at live shows in the months prior, some of the instant classics like The Tide, Trips, and especially Papaya Man debuted for the first time. That talented group of master musicians had their 2nd year anniversary on the horizon, an album setting the sails of an early summer, the name INOHA finally began to make a splash into the international mainstream and they have since been riding the waves of success from there!” - Noah Reyes #satxmusic #sanantoniophotographer #rock #alternative #pp #indie #indiemusic #indiemusician #indierock #poprock #sanantoniomusic #liveperformance #indiealternative #atmusic #satmusicscene #photography #videography #livemusic #sanantonio #band #originalmusic #punk #inoha #albumrelease #2024

I’ll keep this short and sweet (new year’s resolution to not yap so much) Although it was a VERY rocky start within the first 4 months, 2024 was honestly a very hopeful year looking back. Photography saved my life. Modeling and working with bands showed me my vaue as person. And working with kids and making my own festival gave me so many continuous goals to achieve. Throughout this year, I was an elementary school teacher, an awards-winning filmmaker, an actor, a crew member, a poor man with nothing left, alone, a model photographer, a school photographer, a band photographer and videographer, a music video winner, a business associate in sales and marketing, a high school film supporter, a model, a convention production assistant, a collaborator with SAY SÍ, an amateur makeup artist, a grueling editor, a hopeless romantic, a festival goer, a festival producer, a tour member, an EYCCP intern, a Christmas family portrait and dog photographer, a streamer, a memer, the man the recorded the very last show a band will ever play ( @scrambled_eggs_band ), and a partner. This year, I plan on expanding more and more as an artist and a creative “brand”. I especially intend on wrapping up most, if not all, of the loose ends so far within last year. And if I have time, the 7 years prior too. Never stop learning. Never stop creating. And keep on cooking with creativity! - Ñoah “Noito” Reyes 🫶 #2024recap #2024 #2025 #leftovers

3 years ago we played our first show in our backyard. After 3 releases, several shows, countless pits, and tons of smiles, we are no longer a band These are some of our favorite photos from our time. All the photographers are tagged, please support their work, documentation of the scene is vital to its growth. This band has opened up so many opportunities for us, both in and out if this project, and we'll forever be grateful Thank y'all for all the support, it truly means the world :) 🍳🧡🍳💛
