Definitely not the senior night we had hoped for, but I’m feeling so incredibly blessed. Through all of this, I’ve been reminded just how loved I am and how fortunate I am to have the most amazing people in my corner. It’s hard to find joy in moments like these, but even in the hard moments, I have so much to be grateful for.

I know in my heart that this is all part of God’s plan for my life. This isn’t the end of my story, just a bump in the road. This experience has shifted my perspective and reminded me that there is so much more to life than sports. As hard as this has been, I know God has a purpose in it all, even when I can’t see it.

Thank you Jesus for the people you’ve placed in my life, for the love they’ve shown me, and for reminding me that I am never alone.

This too, shall pass. Happy Sunday🧡

[A walk with Dave.] As I’m saying goodbye to the people that have been alongside the journey I’ve been on, the legacy that I hopefully have built on this campus, Dave helped me say goodbye to the place where it all started. My career started with me strolling around campus like this, taking photos of campus and the people amongst it. Now, 3 years later, I no longer take photos, I make them. But more than anything, this is a Dave appreciation post. He taught me the difference between taking and making photos. The first time we talked was after my first Final Four trip at a baseball we cover together where @jacksongmurray intro’d me to Dave and I’ve been fascinated ever since. We have had so many conversations, either a bunch of bullshit or the most technically complicated ones. One of my proudest coverage was @purduesoftball this past season, as someone who has never fully understood the game, Dave taught me how to see it as photographer, where to be and when to be. He has done more for me than he’ll ever recognize and would admit. In many ways, Dave is the reason why I love photography. I don’t get to say this much and as sincerely but, thank you Dave!

Another day in downtown Lafayette finishing up the Amelia Earhart mural! We had some visitors today at the wall and I may have birthed a few jr. Graffiti artists hahah there were more but the photos had their faces in it and I wasn't sure how their parents may feel about that so I left those ones out just know they were freegin adorable

Also we had a dedication ceremony at the wall and it was a blast, even though the record breaking rain set me back I still had enough to generate a buzz through town!
