A BIG Sneak Peak at the hero of Hattie’s room!🤩 It is too perfect for Easter to not share now. 🐥

Inspired by a Facebook Marketplace find (which I have yet to share… 😉) and a little girls love (or obsession) with the colour yellow! 💛

When Hattie first requested a “yellow room” I chided her talking about how she would have lots of yellow things in her room. However, as we began painting the new house Hattie made it very clear her room was to be painted yellow!

This made me very nervous…. 😬 How could I create a soft and cozy girls room with a bright yellow paint!?

Then we had a meant to be moment with a vintage Facebook marketplace find that inspired this whole room. It took a lot of colour samples and visits to those little paint swatches at the hardware store but I think we did it! 💛 What do you think? Would you paint your child’s room a bold colour?

I will definitely be sharing more of her room in the future…. After we put down the new flooring in the coming weeks. 🙌

It's Easter Time.. i love giving my kids their Easter box a few weeks or a month before Easter. This way they can enjoy all the items inside slowly leading up to Easter and not all in one day where most get discarded.

This is a shared box, some items are to be shared but mostly I get them one of each item in different colours or style etc so they each get everything equal to avoid any meltdowns 😵‍💫

You can do this as one big shared box or each have their own basket/box.

They usually don't get any extra gifts on Easter day other than a chocolate bunny/egg from us. If we do happen to give them a gift it's something small and something they can get a lot of use out of it or something they need.

Ps. I try to add items they need or I know they will use a lot in their box too, so it's not just toys and chocolate.

Do you give your kids an Easter Boc before Easter 🐇🐣?

What I used:
Gold Surprise Egg - @smiggle_

EASTER 🐣
I am loving all our Easter play spaces and areas in our house. I love celebrating special holidays and events, especially as Noah is getting older and starting to understand more.

Where I got everything:
• Easter caddy, count down board, personalised golden bunnies, truck Easter tag from @littletimber_ (sam15) for a cheeky discount (gifted)
• Gold personalised family bunny and baby announcement plaque @pipandwillow_ (gifted)
• Sensory tub station which is reusable each year @tinytinkerers_aus (gifted)
• Easter theme felt food from @cubsandsprouts and @taratreasures
• Easter theme posters and playdough mats @twinklaustralia
• Market stall on clearance from @kmartaus
• Rabbit @tonies_anz from @bigwaustralia

The best part about all of this stuff is that you pack it up each year and continue use it over and over!
