It is with a mixed bag of emotions & an optimistic mindset that we announce, that we have closed the doors at our beloved San Mateo location 💜 We’d like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank our customers & collectors for your continued support and patronage over the past 18 years of business in San Mateo 🙏 To anyone that was a part of The Cave team - THANK YOU for your passion & representation of our brand, each and every one of you have contributed to the success of The Cave and we will always appreciate that 🙌 And a special THANK YOU to all of the artists & studios that we have worked with to build one of the largest destination Glass Galleries in the Bay Area and the world 🌁 The San Mateo store became like a 2nd home for many local collectors & for the Bay Area Glass Scene as a whole, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the good times & memories created in this location 💭 With that said, WE AREN’T DONE YET…. We will be turning our focus to our Walnut Creek location and our online store - ShopTheCave.Com 📲 This IS NOT the end, but the beginning of a new chapter for us here at The Cave 🚀

🏆 CUP SHOW 🏆 Step 1) make the cups Step 2) throw the show Had a great time throwing the 5th Philly Cup Show during @parlayphl weekend last month, huge thanks to @frontstgallery @starboltphilly @pooch610 @whitebread @kindaglass @yanxartx @captainjones_710 everyone who waited in line for us, and the many hands that made this light work 🌎 We had over 100+ artists from around the globe on display and each one of them also contributed at least one of the clear cups we gave away at the door 🚪 seeing this community on display and in attendance is truly special to me 🙏 hope you got to take home something special and if not we will be ready to do it bigger and better next year 🍺☕️🏆🥤🍶🍨🍵☝️

What a blur what a blast. PARLAY 5 was easily our best yet. So glad to get the little time I could in with everyone I ran into amongst the madness. Y’all are this event.
