Part 2: The gift 🎁

Though I did use this design for a set of notepads, I knew it would get far more use on a blanket.

I also know that time is a thief, and before long, this little girl will be forging her own path. And that path might, someday, be far from home.

So it makes me feel better knowing that wherever she lands, she will have this 2024 version of herself as a reminder of all the things that mattered most to her 15 year old self.

And, also, as a reminder of how much she is loved.

Plus, wrapping yourself up in a blanket that your mom designed especially for you, is *almost* the same as wrapping yourself up in her arms.

Right?🥹

I cannot express how happy this little reel makes me. I’ve added a few pics of my “customers” wearing their Shan Trew Davies merch to one of my FAVORITE Andy Grammar songs (that I’ve listened to on repeat for months, just sayin). 🥰

There are so many other orders going out everyday which, at times, is so unbelievable to me. I can’t wait to collect more pics and do a PART 2 reel. 🥳

Thank you to so many of you helping me lift this little dream off the ground.

And remember that by reminding others of their significance in this world, you begin to remember that YOU matter too. 💜

I love you lots. xo

PART 1….
The design. 🖍️

This one, for my daughter’s 15th birthday.

From the beginning, I knew that once it was finished, I wanted it to be displayed on something unique and special just for her.

…and I can’t wait for you to see what I chose!!

Stay tuned for PART 2….
